The main villain of Fable 2 is complex because he has a dead family and want them back no matter what.

Actually I liked the humour in all fable games, and that alone kept me interested. I do like the industrial look of the third one, it was refreshing to me, but the menus were utterly awful. None the less I loved the crawler, the setting and those secondary characters.

Try Dread Delusion, currently its in early acces on steam. Its an indie RPG fantasy game with retro style. You dont have a map, you have to chart it yourself, there is no mission markers so its challenging with orienting... I found it similair in some ways to gothic/morrowind so im reccomending it to you to try and review.

is GD better? weak story and dialogues is like a travesty, betrays efforts that developers put into the game, hopefully would become non-issue with more elements of AI-generated/complemented content in games.

It's rather trendy I would say to hate on this game. But it was quite decent, looked pretty at the time and was for sure more polished at launch than any Piranha Bytes release.

good video, but i think that there's no need to focus on "2024" too much. i know that some portion of viewers and even the algorithm priotitize most recent videos, but such review/retrospective type videos tend to be watchable indefinetely. while after a year or 2, the exact release year in the title causes the opposite, it shakes some viewer off.

Grew up playing Fable. The original lost chapters will always have a special place in my heart. I really hope 4 is halfway decent.

For what i know, to run Dawn of Magic you need to remove the starforce protection using the SFREMOVE utility. I haven't tried it, i don't know if it works, it's just what i read.

Easy: my favourite era of RPGs (and games in general) is from about the late 1980s to 2024 and onwards. There always have been and always will be good and bad games in any era, depending exclusively on the personal opinions of the gamers enjoying or hating them. By the way, I have played all of the games mentioned in this video and enjoyed every one of them while I was playing them, but that doesn't make me break down in tears when I think of them today. If I want to play any of them again, which frequently happens, I do so.

I hate when games tell you the solution before you even look at the puzzle. The new Tomb Raiders are terrible at that, Everytime you get within 50 ft of a puzzle Lara starts telling you exactly what to do, it's so annoying. I really wish devs would quit treating players like we're all mentally retarded.

The fact that this is PRE-alpha and already looks better than most stuff that has come out in the last year... 👍👍 The only criticism I even have on this footage is the hit effects. The blood spurts look strange. .... BUT THAT'S IT! I absolutely love Outward 1 and cannot wait to get my hands on this! Hopefully sooner than later. Guess I'll start up another 1 playthrough in the meantime.

About the XP in the second game, it works pretty much exactly the same way as it did in the first, it's just that now you pick up all xp from the ground, instead of just the general one. (Also that multiplier wasn't for damage, but XP back in the first game) And Lucian it the most infamous, since you even don't kill him yourself (sometimes). As for difficulty: original release also had a fixed (trivial) difficulty. F3 had exactly 2 neat ideas: mixing spells and evolving weapons. Both kinda wasted. And the aura+wings thing you get at the end looks nice... That's about it. (And don't get me started on buying legendary weapons at the store)

i personally enjoy all 3 games...yeah each have thier pros and cons fable 2 was by far the best in terms of map design i enjoyed fable 3s story and the inventory system is a bit clunky and seemingly pointless but i enjoyed it and when you look into how the 3 stories link together its just a masterpiece of a trilogy that whole spiel out of the way you did a good job with this video im looking forward to watching more videos

The long sword you get in Ireland is the best I think especially with extra speed runes & set on fire with crit hits rune or extra speed up to 10 hits can really nerf the long sword in the mid game to really powerful weapon. So many option to nerf it is great & only weapon that is so powerful is the sythe with its great special ability

Divine Divinity was the first game i ever played. I was 9, had no idea what to do, but i remember very clearly spamming the double item glitch for almost infinite potions (you could just spam them for unlimited health) and just running around until i find someone to talk to, or to fight.

Did you play any of the DLC for 2 and 3? They don't add a whole bunch, but I like getting to play my favorite games just a bit more. The first is my favorite, and I replay it at least once a year. I played 2 the most as a kid. Once I wanted to hear all of what Lucien had to say at the end, but since I didn't shoot him, Reaver did. Least climatic main villian death ever. I also dislike 3 the most, but it does have some fun quest, to me at least. There is one where get shrunk down and essentially play DnD. The story of 3 is interesting, but the execution of the game makes it so unfun at times.

Fable TLC is probably my personal favorite, but Fable 3 actually has my favorite quests and music. Some of the enemy designs are also the best in the series imo.

honestly the lvl scaling never bothered me in the slightest when it comes to elder scrolls games as a whole , and on the topic of melee combat i found it a bit op so nowadays i only put 1 point into lets say armsman so that i can actually fight the enemy and not remove him form existence with 1 hit , the idea worked like a charm , same goes with armor skills and blacksmithing , becoming op kinda removes a lot of fun out of the game for me , oh and i play the game on expert

Good video! I liked the first game though I never finished it. The third game was so much different that it was difficult to believe that it was the same series. I did manage to beat the third one on hard, which was sort of interesting, but consisted in a lot of dodge rolling.
