I'm thinking about importing one of these or the full size LC diesel to Texas. How would you compare the ride to something like a lifted 5th gen 4runner? Wifes 4runner ride is so good, when I get back in my jeep jk i think it's broken an axle it's so rough lol

How do you find the 120 compared to your old 90?
@rsadventuresnz8400
@rsadventuresnz8400 3 ай бұрын
Heya, reason I got the 120 was its more comfortable to driver and passengers. As for me I consider mostly on road driving to get to the track. More economical on fuel(1kd) but it is heavier with more electronics to consider if you're into river crossing. Having that said it is a good tourer.

I'd say it's case to case basis, as this was only a short video, a bit indepth for this video. Moisture got in because I pressure washed the engine that seeps through the bulb holder seal that wasn't sitting properly. So a simple drying it out and setting the bulb holder seal properly is the way to go rather than buying a headlight that's easily fixable. But I fully agree if headlight is pretty much damaged its gone its gone.

@rsadventuresnz8400
@rsadventuresnz8400 10 ай бұрын
Heya, not sure how you mean taking it out in 4wd? I normally put it on neutral to shift it to 4h/L that'll activate 4wd in the dash. Then putting it back to 4H for normal driving. (4wd Light off the dash) as prados are full time 4wd. Unlike part time 4wd like hilux surf which you can put it on 2wd or 4wd hope this helps?

@@lorenzfriedmann2829no, you don’t want to be in 4wd on the road. You want to be in 2H so it’s a rearwheeler on the road. These cars don’t feature a middle diff so if you put it in 4H the center „diff“ is still locked, meaning you will damage the powertrsin over time;) as soon as traction is bad put it in 4H;) otherwise 2H;)
