Boooo! We already know how the new app is SUPPOSED to work. The problem is, it doesn’t - and it leaves way too many of our Sonos systems completely “bricked”. Sonos’ arrogant denial over the entire fiasco threatens the long-term viability of the company - as well as that of my extensive Sonos speaker collection.

Here's the (MBP) solution with amazing pure Stereo sound: 1. Bluetooth connect one SONOS at a time 2. open Audio MIDI setup and +/configure Multi-Output Device: Left(1) and Right(2) plus any other device 3. in Sound/tool bar (top right) select Multi-Output Device 4. INPUT: adjust the level of each program/source (mixer/preamp) 5. OUTPUT: volume buttons on each SONOS control output level (front-of-house) Be careful: this effectively bypasses the MBP pre-amp and allows direct signal input into the SONOS. Always start with low volume before switching (avoid loud peaks).

I cannot believe they have not resolved this music library issue after Three months. Simple thought if they were able have such a feature before why not now ? Cynical me believes the fact this updated app focuses on subscription streaming services suggests this is deliberate. If they have promoted and sold products by claiming local library playback as a feature but are now trying to remove and force you in to subscriptions. This may very well be an Antitrust issue for the DOJ

Personally, I'd rather be able to mute myself during a Teams/Phone call with the content key as I tend to use the source device for starting or ending the call. Seems like something that could be added in a software update as a settings option to choose what the content key does during a call.

You should make video showing sonos making a charging cable for the move 1 directly available from sonos. Instead of making your customers play Amazon roulette with chargers that match the specs from sonos, however do not work. That was a nice way of saying make a freaking usb-c charger for the move that works and sell it. Wtf!!! It's money you could make while not irritating your customers. I will not buy another sonos product until support, parts, cables for old products exist.

Using the Sonos app is like trying to teach a cat to fetch-frustrating, pointless, and leaves you questioning your life choices. Maybe the app should come with a free therapist for when it inevitably drives you to the brink of madness!

I had so much hope for more battery time with roam 2 and something else. But almost nothing changed. So so dissapointed. Not buying one sadly.

lets cut through the marketing copy and talk about the fact bluetooth is unreliable, Aware mode over amplifies the environment. For the price, there are other better options

Ive been trying to make a playlist since one month now, but its not possible. The function is locked to the que list and the que wont load. Sonos is blaming my connection. Its not my wifi... my wifi connection is superb. The new sonos app though is pure feces.
