When and how to stop using BP? Thank you.
@nadiazayatmakeup12 күн бұрын
As far as I understood it can be used for years. I think (for some) if you stop it the acne will be back. After some time you can reduce it and see how it goes.

@nadiazayatmakeup12 күн бұрын
Hi, lots of people wrote in the comments that they apply it after the moisturiser. I prefer to apply it before the moisturiser, that way I know my pores are "clean" and BP can penetrate better. I just feel it works better this way.

I use makeup every morning, so I need to do double cleansing. During double cleansing, should I use Bioderma Sensibio Mild Cleansing Foaming Gel as a first-step cleanser or a second-step cleanser to remove my makeup? Or I should use Bioderma Sensibio micellar water first to remove my makeup. Can you please elaborate on me? Tnx.

First the micellar water, then you wash your face with the foaming gel.

I get burning and stinging sensation whem i apply moisturizer after BP. I thought problem is in moisturizer but i then changed and used different one. I used Cetaphil and my skin was red and it got brown as if its burnt. i stopped BP for few days. I have started using again but i am not using moisturizer. Don't know what's wrong
@nadiazayatmakeup12 күн бұрын
Hi dear, I used to get the exact same problem. I changed 2, 3 times the moisturiser until I find one that doesn't sting too much. The burning sensation was the worse for me with Cetaphil lotion, but I have heard many people with acne recommending it so I guess it's different for everybody. I really like Cerave products, I remember that the Cerave Moisturising Cream didn't sting and was really calming my skin during the difficult beginning of the treatment. Keep in mind that no matter what moisturiser you use, in the beginning you will always experience this burning sensation, BUT some moisturisers sting less than others, so the trick is to find a suitable one for you. Also one thing that I used to do to calm down the skin is blowing cold air with the blowdryer on my face 😄 weird but it helps! This usually happens only in the beginning, once your skin gets used to the treatment you wouldn't experience it (or at least it won't be too bad). Sorry for the late reply and good luck 🍀

Some people don't use cleansers at all, I personally love it and I wouldn't recommend using anything else instead. Only water doesn't work the same, but as I said some people wash it only with water and they're fine with it.

@nadiazayatmakeup12 күн бұрын
I used it for years because every time I tried to stop it the acne used to come back. I did reduce it though. This year I stopped it entirely but I use Adapalene (another topical treatment for acne) and some supplements.

I don't remember either 😅 but yeah, in general don't apply it straight away. Doesn't have to be exactly an hour, just in general leave some time between both.

Oral hygiene people! When some people sleep they slobber alot and the mouth bacteria ends up on your face causing outbreaks. Before bed floss, brush and this is very important rinse with an oral antiseptic! Mouth bacteria is nasty and will cause those ugly puss zits. My face cleared up within 2 weeks by following these steps.
@nadiazayatmakeup2 ай бұрын
This is an absolute nonsense! Mouth bacteria doesn’t cause acne! And why do you assume I don’t brush my teeth!
@sundog9152 ай бұрын
That is good you brush your teeth but do you rinse with an antiseptic mouth wash? Also change your bedding once a week especially your pillow case. Follow my steps and your skin will clear up.@@nadiazayatmakeup

Your “steps” are nonsense! Acne isn’t caused by bad hygiene or from mouth bacteria! There’s 0 scientific evidence behind your claims.. so next time READ first before you talk! The only reason I’m replying to your dumb comment is because I don’t want someone to see it and feel bad! Stop assuming that people with acne have bad hygiene because it’s NOT true and it’s extremely rude and hurtful to do so!
@sundog9152 ай бұрын
@@nadiazayatmakeup Iam sorry I did not mean to imply you or anyone else has poor hygiene. The statement I made was based on my own personal experience. My battle with acne has been long and hard. I bought every product to fight it then discovered the answer is right under my nose. My mouth or saliva was causing my outbreaks while I slept. Most people won't experience this but I did.

Unfortunately nothing works 100% on its own for acne. Keep using it as it does help you but try other options as well. For example you can add adapelene to your skincare routine or you can try reduce cow milk (there's some evidence it might make acne worse), ask your doctor to run a blood test to see if you have vitamin D deficienty etc..
