Timberline should not sell those without the brass bushing collets. I warm my aluminum ones out and I really didn’t sharpen too many chains with it not a professional by any means so like you I ordered the brass ones. I hope they hold up way better than the originals.
@NaturesCadenceFarm
@NaturesCadenceFarm 2 күн бұрын
@wickiuprat I agree completely! Mine were worn in no time. I sharpened a bunch of chains but not in the amount it should be worn. I always use oil on the burr. I tried bar oil, 2 cycle oil, 3 in 1 oil, kroil, etc. none seem better or worse. So far the brass has held up much better. Thanks for watching and sharing. ~Mr. C.

If the bolts are stuck you can just unscrew the 2 on the hatch side - once you do that you can unscrew the big end of the piston, and screw the new piston in.

You have a at1. I can tell by the diff lock handle by your feet. They used a peerless transaxle. At2 did not have any diff lock handles. But the hidden Easter egg was the right hub had a bolt you could tighten in to lock the axle together. The newer at3 had the diff lock on the dash. Your operator presence control looks shot. They have a updated kit for it that’s discounted for safety concerns on these older model’s Any question on it let me know. Worked for dr for many years in research development and tech lead support. @NaturesCadenceFarm

Help! After installing the new lifts, trunk won't close!! In your video you didn't check if it close properly, is there's something we need to do/adjust on the piston to kinda unlock it? Thanks.
@NaturesCadenceFarm
@NaturesCadenceFarm Ай бұрын
@feelathome77 interesting. We have had problems with the power rear lift on ours for a while so we rarely use it. I didn't even think to try it. I was ecstatic it wasn't beating me in the head and back. I don't know of any adjustments on the strut itself. It sounds like the struts are too strong or the motor is weak. I don't have any experience with the motor system. It might have an adjustment to overcome the struts. I will look into that. Maybe try putting one of the old ones back in so the new one has more weight on it making it easier to lower the hatch. Let me know if that works. I would love to hear about it. Thanks for watching and asking. ~Mr. C.

Awesome series..! Very useful guide for set-up and throttle adjustment. Your US air filter is a better design than my UK one, mine is very fiddly to put back on. Question: How often would you grease the cutting head? Thanks for great vid 😎
@NaturesCadenceFarm
@NaturesCadenceFarm Ай бұрын
@scundai5371 thank you for the kind comment. If you are referring to the gear box for the string trimmer, I grease that with a small pump once a year into the grease port on the side of the gearbox. Not too much though. If you are interested in the hedge trimmer head, I do the same but into the grease fitting. Twice a year if it gets a few hard workouts. I spray lube the hedge trimmer blades every use. I hope this answers your question. Thank you again for the kind words and for watching. Glad you liked it. ~Mr. C.
