I’ve been having a similar symptoms recently. A bad headache, numbness, etc. They gave me a CT scan on the 26 of May and they said I was okay and that there was no sign of a stroke, but my numbness had been happening with minor head pain and dizziness. I’m told it’s not a stroke but I’m trying my best to believe that it’s not

This has got to be one of the most accurate and informative videos I have watched. I currently suffer from vestibular migraines and everything this video mentions is what I get. I go see my neurologist and get treatment but I don’t want to be on pills all my life. I am trying hard to stay positive and to be honest it helps me allot. But going to the shops or walking around fast can trigger my symptoms and many more things. I am glad that this video is out there if people want to understand what it is. Thanks you for doing this video

I saw a neurologist who said i had a tension headache but put in a report I have a cervicogenic headache. Not the same thing!! I was in a car accident. Jaw broken in 3 places. Changed my bite. Thanks for video

Hello! Please help, i slept for a year or two sitting up with my head hanging forward. And i work sotting up at a xoputer 8 hrs a day. And in december, i got a headache pretty severe that would not go away w tylenol and lasted for almost 3 months w little releif. And now i had it go away for about 2 months, then i went to take my dog for walk outside and now my headaxhe is back. Uesterday it was bad and i felt confused and unable to focus and not my neck and into my head is not going away again. Doe this sound like cericoggenic?

I was diagnosed with this 3 years ago.I get a weakness down my left side and muscle twitches and dizzness and confusion that lasts about 15minutes then goes , this can happen up to 10 times a day.But I never get any pain.It leaves me feelikg like a zombie .

Thank you for a great clear explanation of what I’ve just had a Radio frequency ablation procedure to my greater occipital nerve …I had suicide nerve pain in my neck and healed for 18+ months as well as chronic neck pain due to a lot of degenerative issues including a fracture and so know I’ve had three procedures in three months where I had the c3-6 vertebrae injected and radio frequency pulse and then a moth later the occipital nerve and this week I had the c3-6 injected again and a full ablation of 90deg BBQ the nerve to give me longer pain relief …so grateful my neurosurgeon sent me to this amazing pain specialist. I was asleep for all procedures in day surgery and now looking forward to my first big holiday over seas in 33 years asa 60 th BD treat. Stay positive everyone and I pray you all can get some relief soon. 🙏💖🌻

It can sometimes be caused by swollen lymph nodes in the neck; super annoying and almost debilitating when it hits hundreds of times a day. 😞

Thank you for this video... It took me 51 and a half years to get a proper diagnosis...😢 28 laparoscopy surgeries, 3 hip to hip guttings, several exploratory surgeries, a complete hysterectomy, feet removed from both upper and lower intestines, lupron depot poisoning, and now surgical mesh falling apart inside me...i am a walking medical malpractice lawsuit...😢 And yet every time i present at any canadian hospital i sm told to "just stop smoking pot, and it will go away.." so i guess my parents were blowing me bong hoots in the crib, becsuse i have had this disorder my entire life!! ( RYR2 gene damage ) I had to send my videos of episodes to a mystery diagnosis website where doctors from around the world watch it, ask a few questions and instantly, i had a diagnosis!! The doctor from bombay knew what it was five minutes into the video, as he works in a huge hospital in an area that has more citizens than my entire country, so hes seen it before, where canadian doctors are completely clueless, and prefer to cut into you than run a few tests... My specialist confirmed the diagnosis, and a dna tests found the mutation on my RYR2 gene... So often i avoid going to hospital as its such a headache getting the doctors and nurses to even give me fluids by iv...they do like to belittle me, and berate me for projectile vomiting all over the floor when they give you a tiny shallow frech fry container ( or looks like one) to vomit into, as if thats gonna work, and its just so much fun for me, like its the highlight of my day .... The bias of healthcare professionals keeps many who suffer from cvs from getting the help they need...doctors and especially nurses, can do better...😢

Hello, I suffer from migraines & can’t seem to get a proper diagnosis but believe I have this. Chronic pain for 2 years on left back side and behind ear on occipital bone 1. Can migraines cause this? 2. Can infections cause this as it began when I had an infection. Pain at base of skull, radiated up and affected scalp. Thought it was hair follicles initially. Felt like I got punch in head and now is in one localized area on left side. 3. I took a cervical MRI & straightening of cervical lordosis, c7-T1 mild left facet arthrosis and midline disc bulges on every cervical disc. 4. Does this cause Vertigo? VNG report: Dix-Hallpike: classical BPPV. BC Tests: Labyrinth reactivity is high in left ear. 5. Chronic Tinnitus. Hearing test a year ago when it began but hearing was normal. This is all the findings I have so far. Took nerve blocker once and my pain was so bad and didn’t do it again. Thank you so much for your time and informative information.

Thank you for explaining the various types of symptomatic migraines/headaches. This video was done more than 3 years ago so is it still relevant ? The last comment was 4 months ago and before that it was 2 years ago. Anyway, I am having daily migraines for the past 10 years and before that at least 15 days a month for at least 20 years. Taken almost all sorts of headache and migraine medicine including the expensive monthly injections for 6 months but migraines persists. When migraine tablets doesn't work, I had to take pain killers to get some relieves. I am concern also on the bad side effects form these medicines to my heart and kidneys. I need help seriously if you hear me. I had consulted by 5 to 6 neurologists and no one is helping me.

Amazing breakdown , have never heard a perspective like this and it makes a lot of sense. I’m not a doctor but I have done a lot of research because I’ve had sinus problems for nearly 20 years now. I can definitely see correlations between an over active brain stem and sinus issues. When I get stressed, my sinus issues get worse , or maybe it’s the other way around. I also have bilateral concha bullosas that I really feel are preventing my sinuses from having proper ventilation , also adding to the inflammation and the symptoms it causes. There is interesting research on how the sinuses are one of the main places your body produces Nitric Oxide, the number 1 compound that is responsible to regulate blood pressure and allowing your body to get in a resting state

I don't usually get like this for my but It does happen occasionally and it's particularly bad for this period. Is that normal? Or is it supposed to be something that you experience every month? I'm having all these symptoms and it's just awful. Ibuprofen does nothing and even when I fall asleep I still have the headache when I wake up.

Doctors wont diagnose me with it. They will always blame it on my gastroparesis and Type 1 diabetes. I have a good season of no vomiting up until fall and winter, which are my triggers and I go into a vomiting frenzy for a week in this hospital. I hate going to the hospital because I am a hard stick. Takes hours to find a vein. After being discharged, I am good for about 2 months until I have another episode again. This has happened for the last 22 years. The same thing over and over and they still wont diagnose me with CVS. I digest perfectly fine when I eat. I'm sick and tired of this disease. I'm sick of Christianity claiming I can be healed with a prayer. Sick of this life. I can't ever have a job and I definitely know my husband is tired of me. Sorry, I just had to vent a little. This disease SUCKS

I was treated like i just have mental illness for over 20 years. Turns out i have the ATP1a2 mutation and it was hemiplegic migraines and DEE (epilepsy) all along 😡

I have had new daily persistent headache for 3 years. I have tried several medications and nothing has helped. The information you shared regarding the trigeminal nucleus and brainstem is something I would like to explore. I live in MN and am wondering if you have any recommendations for a Dr in Minnesota that shares your same viewpoints.
