Does this type of laser for retina treatment damage the cornea cells?

Thank you so much for this video and the information you provided. I've been searching for the perfect video to show my 17 yr son who has a hole in his retina for the past 6 years. His doctor failed to explain the procedure and what to expect afterwards. So my big question was how is the doctor going to keep my son's eye still, and keep him from blinking during the Laser Retinotexy procedure.

Can you return to weight lifting after laser coagulation of micro tear?

i would give it 2 weeks. it's all about the vibrations and eye movements. so no reading, no bike, no running, no jumprope. benchpress, squats or other vibration free movements should be fine

Greetings with honoring you and posting this video. I am a recovering Patient of a torn retina. And also a fine artist. I searched for a video that would explain what the doctor would see, when he/she was repairing my torn retina. This video is incredibly clear and wonderful. I was crying whilst watching it. Just wanted to say thankyou. You are awesome artists!😊

Remember when examining the optic nerve head: 1st, ask the patient to look at your right ear when you examine his\her right eye (your right is opposite to his\her right), because if you didn't, the patient will move his\her eye and focus it on your examining lens (so you will see only the macular region) & it will become frustrating in the beginning and you will blame your self as incompetent, the same apply for the left eye.

Do opthalmologists actually know how this feels to the patients? I doubt it. Its the most stressful and incredibly painful thing I have ever experienced . Also the opthalmologist wiped the lens on his pants before he applied it to my eye and then got angry when I remarked on the cleanliness of doing that. I will never go back.
