AMAZING. Thank you so much. Ive tried every pillow possible, without success. Im a side sleeper and have problems on my back with a thicker pillow. The demonstration of putting your shoulders 3-4 inches onto the pillow whilst in this position is so simple but its astounding the difference it makes. Im 63 and never knew about this. Simple but so effective. My sleeping is much better and no longer painful.

Love this. They're all good and I've added to the off the bed face up stretch holding my arms out to the side and bent while supporting my head and so I stretch my entire chest and shoulder joints at the same time and that feels fantastic. And then if you're flexible enough, stretching the arms up or overhead. Instead of just strwtching the neck we can get the entire upper trunk at one go. 🧞🥳🌞

Also taking a hot shower, self massage and warming up your muscles with some activity like mat pilates before you stretch is a great way that I have more flexibility when trying to stretch, instead of stretching cold.

I'm having ALL the pains in all the areas and nothing worked. Not the antiinflammatories so I got even a steroid shot in the sacroiliac joint for the pain just a few days before I got to this video.I don't even know how I found it but I am sooooo happy that I finally found some clear information about this that address the cause and tells you exactly what to do. I will try to keep a journal of this and see how I feel in 30 days. Thank you for all these life changing tips!❤

I'll be doing these and other exercises on the channel. As part of chiropractic treatment, I had a couple of adjustments on the neck in March and another couple on the neck recently. It seems that the first adjustments created a bit of a spasm in my upper back, just below the shoulder, and the latest ones simply shifted that spasm higher up and into the neck and also activated nerves on the left side of my face, in the throat and around the left side of the mouth. Though this sounds dramatic, I don't want to overstate the severity, but it's real and obviously resulted from the treatments. I am hoping that exercises can calm this and also reduce the grating sounds which have increased in some forms of movement, though I don't want to overstate this either. Also hoping that my nervous system calms down, adjusts to whatever effect these adjustments have had on it. It is a bit disquieting.

Stabilize: Crane Cervical Flexion Exercise (8:20). What if we have no range of motion here? I can pull and tilt chin down. But I have no ability to move my head back. Alternate exercise? Just keep trying the video exercise?
@metalsailer2254Күн бұрын
I went and looked in mirror. Without band, and using my fingers on chin, I could push and get a little movement. After a few time practices with this, I could get a very slight movement with just muscles and no figures. I suppose, I'll keep doing these without the band until I get get some more movement happening.

Hi Dr Jon, in your previous version of this video, you included a lordosis stretch/traction. Is there any reason to remove it? I might add that I've gotten enormous relief from following those techniques. I start with the nerve flosses, then your 4-minute forward head posture routine and finish with your perfect posture exercises (14 day challenge). I have C5 & C8 minor nerve impingement and major C7. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your education and help.

Hi! I'm trying to return to ice skating after having dizziness for 6 weeks. My neurologist referred me to vestibular therapy. For how many weeks do you recommend doing these exercises. Or rather, after how many weeks might I start to see results? Should I do them once a day for 15 minutes? Thanks! I am so anxious about this.
@drjonsaunders2 күн бұрын
Yes start with daily...they can take months for some to see results, so please be patient...you got this!
