Fantastic review, immediate Sub. I never even reached "immersion" in this movie, but the indie nature of the cinematography on digital cameras kept me viewing. If it's understood that human brains can be downloaded to robots, that's immortality, that's everything humans want. Immediately we can all be superhuman, and superheroes! The fact that these robots were lame like humans made NO SENSE whatsoever. This movie equates humans and AI on purpose for the MESSAGE. I just want to say as a senior engineer and technologist, we are currently on a very different path, and unlike what some thinkers promote we are not creating another species, but we are creating an alien race entirely. Indeed, I wish this movie was true, that the next evolution could map human brains to silicon.

0:09 i found this explanation on a comment on another video(not from this channel) saying that it's called minues one because at the time of the movie, japan was at ground zero after the nuke. This implies godzilla is another major threat so it goes to minus.

I’m a big cgi person I’ve noticed after wandavision I think marvel films just had absolute lackluster cgi it just looked copied and pasted. But in this film I literally never once noticed anything wrong with the cgi it looked like I was in an alternate reality where Godzilla exists. Especially that scene where he looked at Godzilla through the mirror

Movie was awful, but gotta give credit to a kid writing the series. Also keep in mind when the movie was released. This was after the success of LotRs and Harry Potter, so a lot of young adult fantasy books were being grabbed and turned into movies as quickly as possible to try to get money. The studios routinely interfered during production to either get the movie out quicker, and generally to keep it at around 1:30-1:40, since their demographics showed that any longer and the kiddies would start getting stir crazy. This is opposed to LotRs and even Harry Potter, that largely kept to the source material, although did do a good job of cutting out parts that would drag the movie on. This was done while keeping the movie true to the source material (Save for Helms Deep, which surprisingly massive diverged from the books). Both which were 2-3 hours long per movie, but were successful. The movie was a cash grab, and you can really tell with the indifference of the director on it. I'd wager money the entire time the studio was on his back to get it out as quickly as possible

Ah, yet another movie from Disney that "fights racism" by taking the important and helpful role away from darker-skinned actors/characters (who are living free on their own terms) and giving it to a brown-haired white girl with no discernable personality, and now its most important black character is primarily known for being subservient to a white man. Progress!

Awful film, anyone giving this film credit needs to give their head a wobble. It's in the bin for me, I thought it would never end and I'll never get that time back again. The story telling is terrible, the reasons for the arrival of the antichrist and how it needs to be prevented are awful. This for me is just another example of using art to disguise the fact that you can't tell a story well. The film was so dark all the time and ending was laughable for me. It's clear for me that this generation are too dumb to be able to make a decent horror flick, Yes there are few from this era that can make something decent every now and then but the majority of horror films made today are shit.

I might give the film another go but it was way to dark for me the lighting was horrible. I just found it very boring waiting for it to end. i can't even remember the ending which tells me the film wasn't good enough to capture my interest. I wish they'd stop with this arthouse mood films like Hereditary and this film here. I guess this film is worth a watch if your interested but it's nowhere near any of the originals. The first three Omen films had imagination, great acting the perfect amount of scares all done very well. Yes, the first was the best but the other two are highly entertaining too. I'll give this "First Omen" a 5 1/2 out of 10.

Just to add to the whole thing, it isn't normal for mice to eat other mice unless the other mice died on their own and the other mouse is trying to get rid of the body so preditors don't come around. Mice normally help take care of other mice's babies. So. I have to ask. Did they not feed the mice?!?

This is the stupidest scene I've seen in any movie ever: biped bombs 1) The US is dead set against robots, to the point of hunting them down and destroying them in foreign countries, yet they go out of their way to make their own bombs...robots?! 2) They are against robots because they don't trust them. So they build a robot to have kami-kaze ability and opportunity to blow its makers up in the bomb bay. 3) Alphie wants to save robots, so she talks one in to blowing itself up (on a bridge) 4) The most snail paced, unreliable and vulnerable delivery system imaginable for a bomb (and money wasting destroying all the actuation, balance, listening & speech mechanisms for nothing). Right! 5) Nobody can hit one of its chicken legs to halt or detonate (a Bomb) by shooting it?! 6) and this massive 55 gallon drum is only powerful enough to blow up a bridge or hut whereas we see elsewhere in the movie a pancake can debilitate an armored tank as big as a factory? Whatever!!! Ridiculous, mind-numbing stupidity. This is not sci-fi, it is comics, "The Jetsons" or "Robots". How were the producers blind to this pile of absurdities? Because their goal was to create disturbing images for the sake of creating disturbing images, which is what I resent about this movie and why I will never watch it.

To be fair, there is already a whole movement of people saying it not their war so not their problem. Now imagine if they said "oh the enemy is actually these aliens of unknown origin" what would the people do then. It would have made sense to have multiple different companies with multiple scientists working on the poison, but the future people decided to lie because they were afraid that they wouldnt recieve help. The fumble comes when they saw that the government was willing to send hundreds of civilians to die in war that doesnt benefit them but decided to still stay silent

but like that exact moment after he gets humilated, they could have had him realise then how being Obnoxious isnt a good thing, and when he walks away, dont make it a fake out, and actually have him contemplate what he is and how he ruined his chance, and start to change (of course have that earlier on and remove all the useless stuff)

Slight correction, Austrailia let a insane women shoot, and I do mean shoot, mother dogs and their puppies at dog shelters. No they are not supposed to do that obviousely. No she has not been arrested for it. Why? She said she had to do it because covid. No she did not elaborate why she specifically had to shoot dogs over covid instead of putting them to sleep normally. Me? I think she is a psychopath on a powertrip.

As a hardcore FNAF fan, I will admit the movie isn’t perfect. It does fail at being scary, because I was lore entertained than scared, and it seemed the movie was made more for the fans rather than appealing to everyone else. Still, I thought it was a good movie, and I’m glad it made almost 300 Million, with a budget of 25 Million. It’s an 8/10
