@@TransformedHomemakersSociety I was never a coffee drinker until after my first was born. When the rage started hitting, I knew something wasn’t right as it wasn’t like me to act that way. I didn’t know what was causing my rage until one day I came across a KZfaq video explaining how coffee raises your stress hormone. Quitting coffee was a game changer, and I felt like my normal self again.

Just lost it completely earlier🫠. Luckily, I can control it that I don't take it onto my children directly. But man, I never knew the level or rage even being possible to feel. We have been through a lot as a family (children being hospitalised, for example), so my nervous system has been a wreck. So, thank you for explaining this in a way that is not bringing a mom down who's already struggling🤍. You are a sweet soul. God bless you🙏🏻.

In reading your prayer, I do not believe we are judged for every idle word spoken because we are no longer under condemnation. We have trusted and believed in Christ for salvation alone. Jesus is talking to the Pharisees who were self-righteous and trusting in their own good works. The believer is not judged in the same way that an unbeliever is. We have the 'Bema seat' of Christ's judgment which is for rewards given. An article I recently read on this subject said it is moreso like God is looking for something to praise us for as a father to his son. And 'bad' can also mean it's worthless, unimportant, good for nothing. This ties in with things that are made out of wood, stone or stubble that burn up (no rewards are given for them). But, what us done through the Holy Spirit. Many people do many good works but God will look at our motives and the Holy Spirit working within us.

If you're not convicted about cussing, I wouldn't worry about it. I just tried to think about if I would feel comfortable speaking the way I did sometimes in front of Jesus - my answer was no. Follow your own convictions.

Fantastic video! We need more people that are not afraid to speak the hard truths. I’ve been convicted lately on modest clothing. I’ve never been one who wears “inappropriate” clothes, but I’ve been in a time of making better choices. Not wearing so many overly patterned clothes or so much animal prints. Wearing more neutral clothing that will interchange with the majority of my other clothes as opposed to items that can only be worn with something particular. That way I have more that will mix and match that is softer and more subdued but can add a small punch of color or animal print. And I’ve been directed towards more flowey dresses as opposed to stretch pants or jeans. Softer, more flowy tops with skirts and slacks that don’t hug. And although I’ve never in my 51 years leaned towards florals, I’ve been learning towards florals. Which has blown my mind because I’ve never ever liked them. Always felt they looked to old fashioned and matronly. Yet here Iam buying florals on flowy dresses. Iam a hairdresser by trade, so I have to be cautious at work about color stains and hair. So I’ve started wearing a color apron which in the 35 years of work I’ve never liked. But in order to protect the lighter colors I’ve found a need for. So instead of wearing the traditional hairdresser all black, I’m wearing “matronly” neutral florals. I’m sometimes asking myself “ Who am I?” It’s been an interesting journey that I’m still walking and learning on. It’s been hard for me because I’ve sensed a loss of self. Which is a lot of the purpose. Discovering this new person has proven to be a learning curve that has had to lay to rest the woman of the past. It’s not been easy. But I’m finding it’s worth it. And my husband has started complimenting my outfit choices. Which came out of no where. He would compliment me once in a while but I never caught in to the pattern of his compliments. He has never minded how I dressed but has definitely preferred this softer, flowy new me.

You are a powerhouse of good information for women, especially homemakers! I loved the points you made in this video, I can tell you take your walk with God and your role as a Biblical woman seriously. I kind of hate that your content is posted, viewed and then quickly buried. It would be great if you could make some kind of video seminar or write a book or something. You’re a great communicator and very self assured. When I’ve heard content like this in the past, it seems that it is usually couched in authoritarian attitudes, but here you are making the point of growth and hearing from the Lord. I appreciate that. Most of these points did not come naturally to me when I got saved, so it’s been and continues to be, a real uphill battle for me to grow in the Lord and in godly femininity. It basically flies in the face of anything you can hear from the world or even most of the Christian community, it seems. I am especially convicted about the self care aspect, I like the idea of scheduling a specific time in the week to do a spa type treatment. Thanks for creating this content. A small thing that would be helpful to me would be if the scripture translation that is on the screen is the same one you are quoting from. I prefer the KJV, but I understand most people don’t. The other thing is, I’m a very visual person and having your décolletage exposed is distracting for me. Just a personal thing, I’m sure. Anyway, thanks for this, I will be working on some changes.
