Gps engineer here... all the fake jumping positions are mainly caused by the trees. Powerlines can cause some problems too.

Wow when the slide malfunctioned and the gun didn’t fire, you didn’t overcompensate by jerking the gun in anticipation of the recoil. That’s excellent shooting discipline. Impressive. Thanks for sharing.

Work it a half and give her a little pump..lay a straight edge from the new roller you installed to the front idler..measure 1 1/2" of sag..forget about it

I think you over torqued those bolts when you put them back. The torque spec on those should be gutentight if I’m not mistaken.

That is a great looking wallow! How much corn and water to create a wallow of that size? It looks roughly 5 meter long and 3 meters wide. Do you use several 110kg bags? How many Liters of water do you use?

You made the right choice . I have a cat 963C also a D6R. Both mid twenty models and both with rippers and root rakes. My choice of machines would be the 963 for all around work. 963 Will take out a tree on the stump twice as fast as the D6. Pile trees higher and cleaner, cut and push more fill faster. And a dozer can't load trucks. Good luck with your machine.
