I watched a guy throw in a vertical disc like that last one. It should have been a birdie but he threw it straight through and down a hill. Ended up with a double bogey

As someone with OCD, I can tell that Jensen also struggles. Sometimes your skin just feels like it’s crawling and you can’t move until your ritual feels complete. It sucks but I know the feeling.

Hjalte Jensen always uses a ridiculous amount of time before throwing. Could look like he has shoulder problems, but nothing new about him doing an insanely long prethrow rutine. Always feel like it's super unnecessary and time comsuming, but each to their own.

I can't believe that dogs are still allowed at tournaments. Casual rounds, league nights? Bring all the pups. But not to a professional event.

Children are a completely different conversation. Dogs are not allowed at golf, tennis, or billiards tournaments where quiet is required. Why should disc golf be any different?

I would say if you can’t be reasonably certain that the 2-year-old won’t caterwaul mid putt, then it would be common courtesy not to have them near the green while putting is going on. Same for pups or any animal, or even special needs folks. Welcome them to the event, just ask caretakers to use some common sense.

i was in the crowd like 20 feet from the guy. literally everyone stared and he walked off all nonchalant. i would have died inside. i think i remember mcbeth saying in an interview that the bark didnt affect him in the moment.

From the still shot it does appear that his foot is touching the disc when he released his throw, however, the reaction of the disc when he releases the throw makes me wonder if that is true. IMO there is no conclusive evidence, because of the camera angle we can't see down to the millimeter. if this was an official replay the call on the field stands. Hope he had a better angle than we do otherwise this call looks very subjective.
