Too expensive in the Uk for what it is .I’ve still yet to see a 2wd buggy that looks as good as the old school buggies or runs better than a DT02
@rexrcs3 сағат бұрын
DT-02 is pretty awesome, however I have found the open diff to be a bit of a set back on loose surfaces, and the ground clearance just isnt there if you want to keep great handling, I’ll revisit the DT-02 on sand in the future. Whats the BBX price in the UK?
@craigpimlott20420 минут бұрын
@@rexrcs I lifted mine on twin 90mm crawler truck shocks on the rear and 80’s on the front then narrowed it like the sand scorcher track width. home built rear drive shafts and fitted The scorcher body .looks like a scorcher but outruns it in every way .but I do swap it with the sandrover body at times if I’m on the beach with it. I lock the diff on sand it’s easy enough to do …they’re £320 plus quid here which for a tamiya kit is too much for me .

Nice run with the BBX Rex! It looked super cool out on the sand and it looked right at home plowing through it! Loved the aggressive track with it as well!!!

I use to choose the tt-02r option since it has 90% of the hopups i need. Add alu steering and you have a kit which performs well in rallye and onroad setup.
