This video apparently caused a crisis in the star trek discovery subreddit hahaha (apparently the mods are/were basically CBS employees)

I tried the Neil Breen ChatGPT thing. It gave an uncannily accurate scene. He mentions his name 3 times in the 10 lines, he sets a computer virus, some goon tells him he’ll never win and he says “I already have.”

Oh, and the trademark Neil Breen “tell, don’t show” of: “I’ve hacked into their mainframe. I know all their secrets, now.”

Oooof, all that sauce talk, sounds worse than the How I Met Your Mother stake sauce line. This is why we need to stop letting old white guys in hollywood write the screenplays. That's just embarrassing.

Star Trek Disease was a lame attempt to make Stephen Baxter Xeelee book universe into a show, clear plagiarising but not because they made it Star Trek and it sucked Make a proper show of those books pls but don't let anyone close who had anything to do with std

If anyone cares, re 16:40, Mike is right that they're nearly anagrams. To check if two words are anagrams of each other, just alphabetize the letters in each word and see if the results match. "KYLE SOLLER" becomes "EEKLLLORSY" and "SYLRIL KARN" becomes "AKLNRRSY". Remove letter repetitions and you get "EKLORSY" and "AKLNRSY". Off by just two letters!

It's actually insulting and borderline comedic how creatively bankrupt Star Wars is. It's a CONSTANT conveyer belt of recycled garbage. "MEMBUR ANDOR?!?!? MEMBUR SKYWALKURS?!??! MEMBUR LIGHTSABUR?!?!?! MEMBUR VADUR?!?!? MEMBUR DEATH STAR!??!?!? MEMBER EWOKS?!?!?? MEMBUR CHEWBACCA?!?!?!? MEMBUR HAN SOLO?!?!?!?! MEMBUR DA FORCE?!?!?!?" It's unbearable cringe.

The asssassins are women because they're black widows: they use sex to lure in their targets and then kill them. Thats also why the hysterectomies, cause they have a lot of sex as part of the job. Drove me nuts that Mike didn't know who Ray Winstone was lol

'Ishtar' should they really celebrate the babylonian goddess of fertility(ie f*****) and war?Ishtar would be amused at a bunch of old women celebrating her. Polytheistic gods tend to be dicks.

The fake Jordy bit reminds me of when Hannibal Buress hired a “Hannibal Buress impersonator” to show up at an event for him. The man wore sunglasses, looked nothing like him, was like a foot taller than him, and the people at the event just rolled with it. The Romulan in a visor isn’t THAT unbelievable.

Rare miss from Mike and Jay here. They’re missing the Nietzschean theme of the story, that war and bloodshed are good for the human spirit and drive us to achieve greatness. This is a near-perfect hi-tech human society that got where it is by following Nietzsche’s philosophy. The drive to conquer is what elevates a civilization to the pinnacle of power and prestige. SPQR

11:40 I was about 7 when I first saw Predator 2 at night on like, TBS or SciFi in the late 90s. And the idea of the predator just ripping through my grandma's house and revealing his terrifying visage and howling out in pain while he took a stim pack was scary! I saw it... staying over at my grandma's house! Had nightmares but also love this movie to this day.

In retrospect, Keanu Reeves is an amazing voice actor, much to my surprise. His work as Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk is very good, and not at all his usual role.
