I'm into carnivore, it's been only two weeks though. Only beef and water, no coffee, eggs, nothing. Drinking LOTS of water. Beginning was great (apart from the headaches), but for the past few days i've been suffering from annoying heart-pounding and anxiety. Blood pressure is 129/93 (used to be in the 200's...) . Is it possible to have an initial rise in BP (including heart pounding) while detoxing or should i stop?

What helped me was the definition of the word ‘decide’. You are literally cutting off all the other options. I used to take a short cut when I was driving that was a horrible road. I decided never to drive that way again. The road just doesn’t exist to me any more so it is easy to go the longer way on the better road now. I decided to eat carnivore nearly 5 months ago and haven’t had any days that I wanted to cheat. Eating things that cause inflammation is no longer an option. I like that you’re expanding your channel, after all carnivore is a simple lifestyle.

I typically eat all sorts of meat. I also eat some cheese (not much) and eggs. I can tell I am getting stronger, my inflammation is going down, and I'm losing weight but I did gain a little when I started Carnivore (about 3-4 pounds), and I feel amazing. The only issue is sometimes I get dizzy when I stand up, but once I eat (with plenty of salt) it goes away. I also went from eating every few hours on the Standard American Diet to eating OMAD or 2MAD depending on my appetite that day. Thanks for the information, btw! I hope you have a fantastic day.

For me it's like that: even if it's gonna shorten my life by few years, i'm still gonna do it because few more years while suffering on a "normal" diet is not worth for me.

Using dairy or not doesn’t seem to make a difference with my acid reflux. I think dairy does affect other issues. When I was plant based for 5 years I had no dairy. I developed reflux for a period but finally healed. As soon as I started carnivore it flared back up. I even eat at 4:00 to no avail.

My BP eventually went down but it took me more than 12 months, then went up again and it looks like it is settling now at around 18+ months. I am older than you and I have been damaging my body for a longer time than you. Drinking sole water has helped me quite a lot even though it seems counter intuitive, research Dr Brownstein and his book “Salt your way to health”. Hope this helps!

@@Snowsea-gs4wu that’s great that you’ve ended up getting your blood pressure under control! It does sound like you’ve gone on a rollercoaster ride with it though. I agree, salt isn’t as evil as some people make it out to be. Thank you for sharing your experience!

@@DavidCote333 Yes it was a rollercoaster and I wanted to share because most people fix their Blood Pressure in a few weeks or months on the carnivore diet but there are many others like me that may take much longer to get to normal BP. Hope this helps other people like me that might take much longer to experience the benefits of the carnivore diet.
