I personally am not boycotting but I completely respect the decision of those who do, that is to say I still cannot agree, but it was very childish that people were disrespectful just because you boycotted, everyone can choose to support a song and I understand that They boycott them with all of Charlie's songs, including his other collaborations, right? Anyway, I respect your decision not to watch the MV, you are one of my favorite reactors so I hope that in the next Comeback you can enjoy what skz has prepared for us ❤️

I'm sorry for the messages you received, some people just don't know about boundaries . People these days just don't know what respect others points of view is anymore. If you choose to boycott, please don't attack anyone, stop dehumanizing people, stop using the z* word without thinking, and stop discrediting the work of the kids. And if you're not boycotting, stop engaging in fights, stop being ignorant, look for other ways to help, and stop harrasing people. Also, you're not a bad person, you're not a z*, you're not disgusting, you're not shitty. We all have our own ways to help, maybe someone doesn't belive in boycotting a song will help, and they prefer to share gofundmes links, to go outside and protest, etc. LET THEM BE! If you think it will help YOU DO YOU! But stop fighting, that doesn't help anyone! Talk with each other, use your OWN criteria, don't follow others opinions just because you're afraid of social violence. Find a common ground and unite! We all live in the same world, we all know what is happening. This matter isn't black & white, theres a big gray spectrum. Y'all should realize that, and respect that.

dude i respect You should not feel uncomfortable for 1- being on the right side of history(free palestine), 2- having a moral compass cuz charlie is bad and we should not support bad people!!!! and i feel the same about the hybe thing i am not Bts fan but i'm an old carat, even tho they are not directly under hybe like BTS but still i get your point if Seventeen did a collab with a zio i would never even think about listening to it ... company's needs to know that fans will not tolerate this behavior so they'll think twice before collabing with jerks!!

@@flaggov6949 Okay. But my question is, when he is so strongly opinionated about all this and boycotting mv's. Why boycott selectively?

@@harshithaharidas4713 He was very clear at 4:20 that his choice is to boycott individuals who he finds problematic hence not reacting to Charlie Puth. He does not find BTS members problematic. More than likely the majority of people that are complaining, regardless of age, still have an immature and selfish outlook on life.

I've been the same too since the beginning with not caring who does what with the song. I liked the little clips we got and watched the intro and was feally excited to see what the Kids came up with. And being from the US and this being their debut here, able to listen to it on the radio (hopefully soon), talk shows, more involvement here etc. It's something i wanted to go over well. I see both sides and people are able to choose what they want to do. But bullying other STAY's and the Kids is unacceptable. To clearify again, i like the song, but that doesn't mean i support what that side is saying/doing. I think the best course of action now is no more collabs. I hate it, but i don't want to see the fighting of STAY's anymore

There is a reason pro Palestine people boycotted company’s like Starbucks etc. you don’t have to listen to Charlie puth by any means but you have to be consistent with your beliefs on Israel vs Palestine now that you’ve made your opinion public otherwise your committing hypocrisy

I'm sorry you have to explain even the most obvious situations. I understand very well what you mean. For example, I live in Turkey. There was a huge earthquake here. And some of my favorite idols donated money. And one of the people who donated money, advertised an Israeli brand product and people started lynching him. But in fact, that person did not do this because he was a bad person. They are under the yoke of companies in most decisions. We can understand this from their inability to defend themselves even under great provocations, and from the fact that they had to remain silent while being repeatedly harassed by saesangs.

I respect your opinion and am sorry you're getting hate from both sides. I too dislike Puth and honestly wish he wasn't associated with the song. I don't think SKZ were aware of his problematic history, nor do they have the contractual freedom to speak up and refuse to collaborate with who the company tells them to work with FELIX spoke on Gaza and jype took the video down :( My fear is that what this attempted boycott is going to tell them is that if they change from the 'SKZ Formula' and do a new style, that we, as fans won't support their growth in to a more mainstream market.

What concerns me is people putting music over morals. I love SKZ so much and i heard the teasers for the song and as much as I’d want to listen to even SKZ’s only version, Charlie Puth and an Isreali producer acc produced it so either way it would be supporting them in a way. People attacking you is crazy and I see people in these comments talking about the double standards but guys, do you not understand a contract?? These idols can’t even dye their hair without company permission and you mean to tell me that they will be able to speak out?? Thank you for speaking up about this. I am also doing my version of boycotting of certain music and other things due to my own morals and beliefs, even though I have been ARMY for more than half a decade. It is so disheartening seeing how quickly people tell you to unstan and bully you for it. For what? For sticking to my morals? For wanting things I love such as BTS to NOT be associated with these ugly and useless people in positions of power? Absolutely not! I know better (and in my heart, I know groups like BTS know better as well). And, even if there were not these complex issues attached, no one is obligated to listen or watch anything they are uncomfortable with. You can dislike certain songs, music, and collabs. Even as a fan! It is ridiculous that people even got mad at that and are trying to use the horribile ongoing situations to essentially fuel "fanwars".

Thanks for your reaction. BTS in the past has explored psychological themes and obviously this has led to processes of self-observation, reflection and healing. Here I think Namjoon explores the idea of the "Person", the mask we wear before society where we fulfill the role that others expect of us The meaning of the concept of BTS album "Map of the Soul" has to do with four versions related to analytical psychology of the book "The map of the soul according to Jung": Persona, Anima, Self and Shadow. Remembering that Jung was one of the most popular psychoanalysts of the 20th century and founder of depth psychology, which is mainly based on what exists between consciousness and the unconscious. Without going into so much detail about these 4 aspects of being according to Jung... The Anima is the feminine aspect present in the collective unconscious of men and the Animus is the masculine aspect present in the collective unconscious of women. In other words, we all have feminine and masculine energy, although one prevails over the other in each individual. So BTS "Map of the Soul" albums seek to generate a journey towards the encounter with ourselves and the acceptance of the "I" among them the integration of our polarity, be it feminine or masculine. Namjoon is a deep artist, he is philosophical so it seems to me that it is a self-reflection about finding himself. The Anima is usually associated with deep emotionality and the force of life itself. In a way, the anima represents a living image of the soul and the spiritual contents of the person. For Jung, the "Person" acts as an intermediary with the social world and the "Anima" with the inner world. Notice how in one moment he is face to face with the woman who is in the same situation as him and then the camera focuses on Namjoon... it is no longer him but the woman, that is, his Anima... he finds himself, see inside. And if you remember Jimin's "Like crazy" video... there is a moment in which he also meets a girl, that is, with his Anima (in the choreography when Jimin sings that he sees his reflection... in that part he dances alone with one of his dancers, facing each other) and in his album Face he also confronts himself, stops fleeing from reality, it is a confession of the phase he went through emotionally during the pandemic and therefore the representation of his Anima with the dancer This is my interpretation of what I understood from the video and based on other BTS works Regards from Mexico 💜
