This is the opposite of what I learned. I used to tell people and even though some people are well meaning, it's just not a good idea until you've reached that goal. ❤ Do further research and experiment for yourself.

I started rockclimbing recentley and I want to get super good at it. I have been improving fast but this video helped me realize how much harder I need to work. Currently I go 4-5 times a week for 3 hour sessions. At that rate to get to 10,000 hours I would need to be climbing for 9 years. I better start going 6 times a week and maybe 4 hour sessions. That would get me to 8 years.

This is exactly why I quit my depressing mentally soul sucking factory job. People sucked, worked sucked, mandatory 12 hour shifts, had to work around sex offenders. Literally people would brag about how much OT they worked, like it was a competition. Not even realizing they were out slaving the next man. Sheep, if the word had to be used. I now day trade stocks, twice the money with only one-two hours per day looking at charts and numbers

This is beautiful! I am 60 and agree with all of it. I'm living my dream life because I've gone against the masses and fought hard for what I wanted to do. It was hurtful, but also okay to see friends slip away as I grew. New friends come into my life. And you still hear from old ones from time to time. I hope to live to at least 90 to continue on this beautiful path of love, creativity, and success. 💖

My favourite video of your channel. Fear of failure it's really dangerous. It made me feel stuck in life because i was afraid of trying to do everthing. The insicurities creep in your life slowly until they take everthing from you. For me they were the cause of a depressive episode. It took me 3 years to realize what caused it and i am still learning to accept failure, so this video helped a lot. Thanks!

I relate to your experience, because I used to fear failure. However, after I started watching videos on why I must fail to succeed, I started to gain more and more confidence. I accepted failure since the age of 25.

@@warrenbradford2597 i am so happy you are better! I'm younger but everytime i think i have fully accepted it in the end it always gets back at me. Especially right now that exams are approaching. But i bounce back faster everytime it happens. I went to therapy though, i couldn't make it alone

Always love these videos - motivating and inspiring at the same time! I was an overacheiver in highschool and wish I had seen this. It was a lot of stress and failing was never an option, so I always took it really hard if I did less than excellent on something. I was that person in the group who'd do all the group work so i wouldn't get a low mark b/c of the others; I was that person who wrote 13 drafts for a 6 page essay'; I was that person who was on honour roll every semester, every year; I was that person who wanted to be the smartest. Failure wouldn't get me there, so my solution was to never fail.....It's hard to separate identity from failure - why would I see it any differently than identifying my personality with my achievements? If I succeeded it was because of me; if I failed it was because of me. I never saw failure as a learning tool - I only saw it as a reflection of me. Learning to shift failure slightly to the left, outside and on the edge of that reflection, and reframe it in my head took a very long time (and still am in many small(er) ways). I always take this topic to heart <3 Thank you and keep these coming!

PLEASE CHECK YOUR CLASSIST AND SEXIST ENTITLEMENT COMPLEX! STOP BLAMING THE VICTIM! FIX YOUR CONTENT TO REFLECT LESS OLD AND OUTDATED IDEAS! BREAKING IT DOWN TO THE VERY DOWN BOTTOM (LIKE DOWN, DOWN, DOWN) Let's consider the wide array of community members. PRIME with INCLUSION! I have recently returned to the abundance mindset. You can demand more from your community especially if you need the help and you can offer others guidance. There's something powerful about the romanticized ideals of rugged individualism, but these ideals fall apart and become silly when you consider the inequality in the world, for example, a country experiencing overpriced housing, overpriced education, high inflation, joblessness, and high interest rates. People need to balance self-sufficiency with DEMANDING MORE from their community ESPECIALLY when you are getting disrespected and simultaneously possess higher level skills. NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY YOUR NAME, NOR YOUR SKILLS! Anyone doing so is jealous. That's POWER!
