I'm glad you didn't go to a gm engine. I wish you'd have kept filming the races at least. I loved the 2v content. Built my 2v cause of yours. But the coyote is definitely way better

I have a question about the mounting points for the Chain Guides. I'm currently trying to use the Cloyes Timing Chain Guides. For the Driver side Timing guide are you just using 2 top bolts on the Head? or what mounting points are you using?

Andrew, what are your plans for the 2v? Are you selling any parts off of it? Like cylinder heads?

You got one bad ass Mustang, Andrew, I watched the videos where you tuned the four valve lightning. I still got a two valve lightning. Of thrown two rods through the block twice I found out that cold air and detonation are not my friends. I know that now but this motor got 175,000 miles on it now and I’m ready to go through it again. I didn’t know if you might be interested in building a of course, two valve 54 lightning motor, but making a turbo? I know you’re the two valve guy though I’m just tired of tearing stuff up. I’m giving this truck to my daughter. She spent 14 years riding back-and-forth and every other weekend going to pick her up anything low and fast she likes. Well, now I see you got a coyote motor

How much total would you say this build costs (not including stock components that would come with the engine)?

I doubt you’re on here much. But I love the build and your progress. With the trick flow heads I noticed that on mine and yours there’s only a small oil hole for the tensioners. Is that normal? The OEM ones have a massive hole

My upper main thrust bearing was a bearing just like the rest of them but it just had spacer on the side but the lower bearing was the actual thrust bearing. What an I missing here. Is there a reason for both? So only the performance series come with 2 thrust style bearings.
@ucnhtmenow1
@ucnhtmenow1 2 ай бұрын
So I did a tiny research and the thrust bearing for the 5.4 and 4.6 iron block only have the thrust washer on the upper side and the bottom gets the actual thrust bearing. I guess maybe the shop didn't know this but I'm glad I realized this and will have the bearings for the aluminum 4.6 block. Don't know what the huge difference is but there has to be a reason right?

You should let me help you with your hot/cold side parts. I do high temp ceramic coating (Cerakote Automotive) 300-2500 degree rated, air or oven cure coatings, heat dissipation coatings for intercoolers, intakes etc, and piston coating as well.

I read somewhere that Nissan applies a Moly coating on the piston skirts of their newer engines. If I get my engine rebuilt, should I request that? Will it make a difference?

Damn great work man, that girl's come a long way from that On3 turbo kit, in just a few years while my GT has remained basically stock! Congratulations on all the hard work, skill, and success, and thanks for all your time. Hope to see more of the Coyote in action. It's truly beautiful.
