First off thanks for sticking with AMC power in your jeep. Also, the thin wall cast AMC V8 started in 66 and ended in 91. I had a 343 in my 73 gremlin I had years ago. I have a 74 gremlin now and it had a 360 in it with 343 heads. That was a trick back in the day to bump up compression. it now has a way radical new AMC 360 in it.

My rancher was same as far as shifting, I was ready to take it back because of reverse then with time it smooth out. Love it

The difference in Honda and Can AM is that you'll always ride the Honda home. The CanAms often get towed home.

My most recent 360 build had a similar issue. Mine was a failure during cam break in. It bypassed the oil and that starved the rear cam bearing. This drives the camshaft forward and thus the distributor gear and the camshaft gear grind each other up to the point that there are no teeth to mesh and therefore there is no timing. And lots of metal in the engine as well. This was the first AMC engine I have had this issue with. I think this is the 8th on I have rebuilt.

I vote that it's total garbage. No power, ran good for a little while. Tgen it became a drag to have around. I'm 6'2 also and it's small. I didn't know they were lemons. Maybe for your kid or wife ut would be ok.

How come no follow up video? It's supposed to close the dripstop, to steep the coffee. This exact thing is happening to me right now! im having problems with mine, we cleaned it with the c,ean cycle, after that it stopped brewing, when you turn it on, i no longer hear the drip stop arm moving, but i can hit the drip stop button to make the arm move, but still never brews, dont even try to pick up water, so i thought id experiment and see if it would run the hour long clean cycle and sure enough it runs fine in clean mode, have done it 4 times just seeing if it will start working. but nope, the clean cycle is the only thing that woks on it now. im going to call customer service on monday see if they can be any help, if so ill report back for others who have had similar problems. thanks for the video.

I have the same one. It just keeps going!!!! Kids have crashed it, horrible maintenance on our part and it just keeps going.

It’s weird I had a 2006 foot shift foreman with 26 inch bearclaws it would outrun my dads 2018 rubicon on stocks. It would also run 55 on flat ground.

Hey Johnny, what push rods did u use and what rockers and then you pre load then like a small block chevy ? My heads are the good ones with screw in studs and did u use guide plates? I have the sun 8601 this is my frist AMC Just A Little lost Like u still learning.

How much did you spend on this rebuild? Im mostly curious about the top end cost with the rollers. Machine work done just for that? I love the idea of not having to worry about wiping the cam lobes if things don't go smooth during break-in

A guy is trying to sell me 1 now it's a 2007 for 1000. He says needs some carb work and belt might need replaced eventually. Looks good . Not sure if I should buy it or not.

520 seems kinda small for a big guy. I’m 6’1 220 without gear, water, tools. I’ve also only ridden a quad once. It was a 400 I think. I’d like to get a grizzly or kingquad 750 but they are more expensive and I like the idea of a regular tranny over the cvt. Any idea of MPG? I plan of going really far in the desert.

I see you said to someone that you plowed snow with it. Would you have a link or model/part number for the correct plow mount that you have? I'm having a hard time finding a mount I'm 100% sure fits

The foot shift is the way to go. The ES and DCT aren't nearly as reliable. Like you said underpowered over built. I hope this will be the last ATV I will have to buy. For me it is just for farm work, not playing. Thanks for the video.

I just bought a 2022 rubicon with the foot shift. How’s plowing with it?
