The original video helped my scalp a bit more than other things, but the main thing that's helped me is not going to bed with wet hair! I dry my hair after I wash it, and my scalp is so much better now. If you are going to bed with wet hair I recommend drying it straight away and seeing if it helps

I've never concerned myself about my German accent as most people think I'm from the Netherlands, which works for me. Some tourists compliment me on my English, I just thank them and not disappoint them. The first time I was in Berlin I was quite surprised when someone said Tschüß to me since I didn't know that person. I was informed it was to be used among people I knew. One of the many differences between Austria and Germany. When meeting my cousin from the US who was visiting in Munich, I ordered a großes Bier and got a maß! Likewise in Berlin I ordered a Melange, and got a quizzical look, forgetting I wasn't in Wien. After living in Wien for 27 years, I'm now in Kärnten and it's not uncommon to have conversations at the check out no matter how long that might be. One adapts. Caio is quite common here. In the past 30+years I've only been back to the US 4 times, feeling much more like an alien.😜

German pharmacist can give medical advice and sell most of their medication on doctors prescription only. Pulling any teeth is covered by public health care, implants aren't.

As a former British soldier who spent 4 years in Munster, pre reunification, I had no issues speaking to girls in pubs and bars. I noticed that German girls rarely wear skirts, and are the exact opposite from French girls who I have dated. I think German girls lack a certain level of being feminine, for example clothes, attitude, fashion. You wouldn’t ever split the bill with a French girl. They are also naturally tactile . No decent French girl would ever smoke in public. In a cafe yes. Never on the street. You also stand up when they leave the table and assist putting the girls coat on when leaving a restaurant. French girls usually attend a cosmetic day in their young teens and are taught about make up, and how less is more. They are always critical about foreign girls who have no clue about fashion or style. I am not a millennial so I have different expectations and standards. I always found German girls lacked the romance which the French have. However they are much more high maintenance but the best things are worth paying for!!! French girls also eat tiny amounts and rarely if ever drink too much, especially in public. Other people might have different experiences, perhaps I was just very lucky.

Uk Wisdom teeth extraction. Never done under a local anaesthetic. It’s done at special dental surgery with a qualified anaesthetist and the dentist. Usually Midazolam is used. Also you must have a responsible adult with you or they will not proceed , to drive you home post procedure. You can also attend hospital for something like total extraction but that’s unusual. The dental schools in London also see people out of hours but access is limited.

European here but not german, my opinions. i think the first situation was just bad luck really, normally your GP gives you this urgency number so the person on the phone luckily forgot. The people at the front desk are often sadly super stressed and then they sometimes lash out, im not saying its right but it happens and it isnt personal. I dont think you did anything wrong it was just bad luck. Normally it works out fine. On the punctuality... For me its funny actually I come from the the croatian area and for us being on time means being like 10-30min early. So if someone isnt present 5min prior to the agreed upon time, we normally call and ask whats going on. Or if you aint gonna be there you call and say you re gonna run late. So like if we agree to be there at 10, you re expected to be there 9:50 or 9:55 As i came to germany a lot of people would arrive at 10:00, not 9:50. So very often i would be super anxious, calling people, asking where they are. And then they would somehow show up at 10:00 ON THE DOT. And so over time i adjusted my own timing and took away some of that expectation. Then during online meetings i would initially enter at like 9:55 or so, but everyone would want to make smalltalk and i was rly not interested. So i then turned off my camera and muted myself, and waited until 10:00 to really "show up", to avoid the whole chit chat. As people considered this rude, i started entering the calls at exactly 10:00 or sometimes evena bit late, because life happens and other meetings run longer than intended. I didnt really notice that people were upset about it, but i think it makes a lot of sense now that you said it. THe expectations i had was that germans are punctual aka early and on time. But i think the truth is they are punctual, as in "you have to show up at exactly this time, not before and not later" If you show up early you can easily be considered rude and pushy too. So somehow you cant please them. Given how unreliable german deutsche bahn and other PT is, i dont even know why they clinge on to this expectation.

I also studied in Oldenburg and know this corner well :) I also heared of an accident near the university with a bike driver when we stayed there for the Stadtfest 😞 ... It's a pretty dangerous spot because of the amount of traffic (bikes and cars etc.). I'm so glad you had a little safty angek and weren't hurt so much due to the circumstances 🙏. I crashed with my bike some hundred meters from your accident side at Rosier Car Shop 😊. How you like Oldenburg? I loved it there very much. It was a great time studying there. You are still in Germany? Best regards Martin

This procedure is NOT a one person job. I found it very difficult to apply the way she suggested. I have short hair and still found it difficult to part my damp hair to apply the oil the way she suggested. I used a cotton ball then covered over night. The next morning I followed her shampoo directions 2x and then apple cider vinegar. This was 4 days ago. Each day since I have had to wash my hair because the heavy oil just will not come out of my hair. I am hesitant to try this again. I would definitely not recommend doing it on your own. Get someone to apply oil. As for not letting it absorb into your hair. I have no suggestion. Just beware. It a biotch to get out.

Hi, you applied the dr bronners to dry hair and it still didn't come out? :( It's definitely something I had to practice over time. I part my hair in sections these days and shampoo and condition each section individually since I have super thick hair. But I'm also using a steroid spray which means less oil treatments (i caved in)
