How many patients do you care for each day? I hope not all of those rooms for 1 person . Any tips for becoming a PCA in a labor and delivery unit? I have CPR/First aid and have worked with kids for 10 years.

How was the extern experience on the med surg? I’m debating if I should wait for a specific specialty that I want to open up but then again I think taking the med surg position would be helpful for me a lot. Were the nurses more helpful?

I agree with the copy and paste part for the resume. I've been doing that ant it works !!!! It's so hard to get a job nowadays so yes u gotta be on it with the resume. On top of that, that's the first they see 👀

How hard is it to get to this position ? I'm currently In school for my cna certification and later on I'll apply to the lpn program. I really want to start working as a cna but at the baby unit .

I am a male and getting hired as a CNA in perinatal at UCLA. Do you think being a male would be an issue?

Probably not with getting hired, I think some families may decline a male cna, don't take it personally but there will be others that couldn't care less, just be professional and a good sense of humour helps.

Im a PCA about to be a PCT on med tele but id love to be on mother baby unit since i want to go into NICU when i graduate nursing school. I need to have day hrs that are flexible since i am PRN. I usually work anywhere between 7am-5:30pm

Hey guys, the solution to your NGN is here, be it RN or PN. I just passed my Nclex RN with Dr Luther, i advise anyone preparing for the nclex, be it RN or PN, just get to him, and you will pass your test 💯

I’ve been CNA on and off for 8 years & just got hired as float pool CNA in a hospital & prn in nursing home. Im nervous about the float pool CNA job but the hired me as I informed them of me starting LPN school in the Fall . Thank You for your video 🙏🏾😊

I currently work in L&D as an ob tech it can be super boring at times. When I first started I felt the same way like ok what’s next to do. My 12hrs be dragging some days. C/S are the most action I see/ do. Granted it’s not like this everywhere but I’m at a small hospital so our nurses do everything themselves 🥴
