Thank you for this video, I am a student working with a small consulting firm, I was lucky to have 2 clients assigned to me just after a month of joining the firm, unfortunately one client asked I should be taken off thier account because I was making so many mistakes, I felt really bad ,because this what not my expectations of myself , my goal was to prove my worth and value, now I am on what you referred to as the bench stage , everyday I ask my manager for project and there isn't any for me, I have this feeling I will be terminated anytime soon. I won't let this define who I am , instead it's really motivating me to grow myself professionally .but I feel sad though!

Hah, it's a good thing that people always think I'm a youtuber since i sound like one, apparently. A lot of people remember me cause of my unique way of phrasing and explaining and also how i speak. It's kind of creepy tbh. But i guess it might actually give me a huge leap here

So you really think this new vid interview is bullet proof and more fair than the previous face to face approach? While I understand people are striving to be more productive vídeo interview might also have downsides, you assume recruiters are going to review your video at the best time, video speaking is a skill/competence that might be completely irrelevant to the role and you might discriminate really valuable people for the job vs people who have looks or skills that might be more appealing to a recruiter for the wrong reasons. I am all up and embrace things that help us improve but I must say this is not one that guarantees a better result. Also remember that recruiters need to get trained on what to look for on vid interviews and not be biased…in conclusion vid interview is not the next big thing, it’s a result of COVID and hope the world would find a right balance as face to face is ultimately the most relevant way to connect people and companies

Is there a way to send a thank you email after a Hire Vue interview? I don't see a way because I don't have a name to use from the hiring company?

Your content was helpful, but still, this way of ""interviewing"" for a job is absolute rubbish. Sheer corporate laziness and garbage. I am in my late 30s. Maybe I am too ""old""?? I don't think so. I don't feel I am, yet this way of """modern recruiting"" is frankly sickening. It basically tells to a Candidate that *"yeah, you might be a good fit, but WE are the Company, so don't think that we are THAT interested in you. Maybe we are, maybe we aren't... here is a link to a camera instead, answer out (bs) questions, and maybe... maybe, you can meet us in person too."*- Absolute nonsense. If a Company is interested in a potential colleague/worker (who might be their colleague for decades), they should take that MINIMUM effort.. that minimum effort to interview the candidates by HR personal. Simple as. No big deal, just a 30 min video call with HR. Again, I am not even in my 40s but even I had enough this ""technical progress" these days. And make no mistake, those algos are indeed working and implemented. Regardless what courts have ruled in the EU or in the States. Trust me! They are.

I'm applying to internship. Upon getting response which is very vague, I am being asked to complete an assignment for the job role to test my skills. Now that assessment is a big task that will take me about 7-8 days to complete. I am just looking for internship, how am I supposed to know everything and why should I do free work for the company? Then there is not a single company asking for it, but multiple companies multiple assessment.. 😢 what work should I do, how do I complete all of them, am I to leave all my work activities and work om these instead???
