Incredibly well presented, thoroughly professional, but with real human warmth. Thank you.

7mins+ story u.k and Japan flag walking side by side is real communication yet? I wonder. I feel if like an allowed camping like under block exploration will be nice to discover people - or near swimming pool(have shower) or portable toilet. So the grave are fake as real story underground is cannibal sharing spot or story of "real wealth" of others storage place, a secret bank? Heard nobody buried in Singapore before?

I've often wondered what that was, sitting atop the three skyscrapers in the marina. I always thought it was a massive submarine that'd somehow been miraculously lifted into place!!

Basically this shows Singapore has no architecture and culture of its own, these are all architectures from Europe, China and Malaysia. Where is the indigenous Malay architecture and historic buildings? There's dozens in Singapore yet none of them are on this video.

Has mankind drawn the appropriate and painful lessons from WWI and WWII? That beneath the historical grievances of justifying war, are the domestic undercurrents of ambition, pride and power feeding on one another. This dynamic is still present today. If not carefully managed or reined in, they can form a combustible mix that can spiral nations into another hemispheric, if not global and total war. Lest we forget.

Thank you for this presentation! Indeed, Singapore does preserve a vast array of heritage and historic architecture reflecting our very eclectic cultures. Our global outlook does stem from colonial days when East, West and everything in-between gathered here to make a living and leave an indelible and colourful imprint today.

Thank you for the video. It was great! I'm from Oz and find the old side of cities often far more interesting and 'up my ally' than modern hotels etc. I am researching to see if when I visit Singapore, I can get accomodation in the old part of town plus if there's enough to do there. It sounds like getting about by push bike is a good way to travel. And I like the sound of that.

It's definitely not for people that are casually looking for a day and leaving. It's my favorite place if you live there for more than a month. The pollution is bad. The traffic is worse. 3 major roads come together Soi 71, Rama 4 (Klong Toi), and Sukumvit. Great if you take BTS. If you need a better massage try Ponnapat Massage on Soi 71 and pay 300-600 for professional masseuse.
