That lady at the beginning of the video also has other videos on her garden that I found enjoyable, but I cannot find her. Anyone know her channel name?

Great information. I've had a really tough time getting Burr Oak acorns. I have only one Burr Oak on my 160 acres that's mature enough to produce acorns. It's been a battle.

im not sure i would recommend growing oaks as a first tree they can be very slow growing especially in first 10 years......... chestnuts and sycamore are faster .

Hi, just one of your subscribers here, I hope you're well ! Do you still have your garden? I don't use any electrical machines in the garden for quite a few years now, it's like the frequency is not compatable with nature, especially the noise factor. Doing things by hand is very time consuming and overwhelming but I had to accept the reality of it, until there is healthy solutions... 'Long Live the Weeds & the Wilderness yet'.

I can't understand you with the music going at the same time as your voice, which makes me very said. I'm glad for being able to turn on captions because it's a good thing this video exists. I have disabilities but I also have a tomato plant that I really love.

I wish to say Zucchini is the easiest veggie to grow. Same as ButterNut Squash plant. Two Butter Nut plants produced12 fruits from 4-8 lbs this year from my backyard in Connecticut this year. Have taken pictures of my harvest and given out to my favorite Garage Mechanic. Happy 2022!

Maybe a Stupid question, but, can you Germinate a Green Achorn from a Red Oak? I live in Eastern Canada and found a bunch of Green Achorns on the ground in a pile. So I snagged 10 or so, they all sank in the water after peeling Caps off. Soaking them in water now and going to put them in the fridge for 1.5-2 months sealed in a bag, in damp paper towel. This post was longer then expected, guess my question is... is it worth my time to try to Germinate these (Red Maple) GREEN Achorns? Love the series by the way, you have a great Narrative Voice 🤟

Maple seeds is the seed, "bury it, and forget it" tree! No need for human intervention to grow. They grow so fast that you should pull them off the lawn before they get their roots so deep and will be hard to pull them off!

A mature maple tree will produce thousands of seeds every Year in May dropping like helicopters. They grow so fast that if you ignore them for three months, they are difficult to pull out of the ground. If you step on it on your lawn they sprout like mushrooms! I have to meticulously pick them up to prevent them from ruining my lawn. I can collect about 2 garbage bags each year, maybe more because they are being blown by the winds. It also cause clogging of my roof gutters.

I think I'd rather be drinking a cold pilsner beer from that glass instead of floating acorns in it! Great information, and outstanding video. Thanks for sharing. From Canyon Lake Texas.... The land of LIVE OAK TREES. Big, wide, crooked limbs, and very small acorns.
