Thanks for this video man I put the upgraded 2085x servo in my xmaxx and it was trying to turn way too far and totally use up all the travel on the servo saver after the wheels stopped turning everyone told me I couldn't set end points on it even RC Sparks told me I couldn't it was impossible. Well I just did it with this vidoes help! Now no more strain on my new servo👍👍👍

Huge luv bro. Thanks man. I have a VXL 2 wd slash ' I put the badlands on her with renegade wheels and the front was hitting the suspension arms sooo bad it would not work. This fix did her up good. Now all is 100%. 👊😎 Thanks bro.

Thanks for this bro, really helpful. Bought a rustler vxl 4x4 and the servo wasn’t set right so when turning the steering arm was pushing against the main driveshaft lol

For those who tried this and it doesn't work, like it works on the left for example and not the right, it is because you can't do this when the servo is reversed like it was on my Rustler VXL, just set it to default and it will work for sure. Cheers :)

-Off radio. -Press MENU+SET and turn ON. -Press MENU x6. -Press SET. It works!!!

Are parts easily available for the thunder drift? I can't seem to find much info of it. I don't want to spend the cash and not even be able to find a replacement belt

After i do the last step set.. final set button the steering looses half its throw? Very frustrating

Same problem here. Once I leave menu it goes back to very little steer. Fixed by using dumborc radio.

Try again. I messed up 1st time too. Savox coreless $80 servos are so much stronger than the blue 40 dollar ones. I ran it all summer without setting end points. It should last forever now. The 40$ blue saxox servo lasted about 10 runs (a week) without setting end points on a 2wd stampede. This one over 100 runs last summer and still rockin. I got the high torque savox coreless digital servo fast as can be. I can only imagine the high speed one

@@familyman8644 tried 8 times. I press the set button and it slams the servo to that side all the way. I've repeated the process several times. No luck.

@@jcallesano you have to set it manually. Dont turn all the way when you are holding button to set end point

@@familyman8644 I didn't. I held it back from full about 20% and the second I press "set" the wheels shoot all the way full turned with my finders still holding the wheel. Something ain't right. But its almost not a traxxas servo. Metal gear super speed for racing servo

Yea....well the 2nd I hot the set bottom where I want the steering to stop, it tosses the wheels fully turned to thst side and then it only turns 1/3 of the way the other direction. Doesn't work for me...

@@skaaads no sir. I gave up.... did find out that you're able to adjust the steering endpoints from the Traxxas App instead of having to mess with the programming. Hope that helps

@@skaaads if you didn't get the transmitter with the Bluetooth module I would suggest spending the extra thirty bucks to get the app you can adjust everything from throttle, braking,ends points, etc from the app.

@@jcallesano well yesterday i bought a new servo because my original broke and also bought a new transmitter with display, people from my area told me most beginner transmitter are better than the traxxas one anyways, so yea, but thanks for the advice!
