First Mark of the beast and Great Tribulation believers: And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8 KJV Later in Rev. 13 it says how all who worshiped the beast took his mark in their foreheads or in their hands. It says those whose names were not in the Lamb's book of life did not worship the besst so they did not take the mark or name or number of the beast. I believe this simply means God protects His children in that time period so they won't take it. Then Judas Iscariot: Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve. John 6:70‭-‬71 KJV Judas was never saved, he never was born again or believed in Christ Jesus for salvation. Was he a disciple? Yes. Was he an Apostle? Yes. Those two are not what makes you a saved individual from hellfire. Of the 12 Apostles Judas was the only one who was a lost person. God did not elect him to be lost, but God used Judas's own state and still in his hardened state used him to be an Apostle of Christ Jesus and so Scriptures were fulfilled about Judas. Judas had every opportunity to be saved from hellfire but one of the indicators from John's gospel says he was a thief. Every believer can steal but it seems like one of the main motives for him was money and power from Christ Jesus and God. He finally realized he betrayed Jesus Christ, who is sinless, and then he hanged himself. Sad thing but true. Then osas and falling away: Bible says a believer in Christ Jesus, who has from his heart believed the Gospel of Christ(1 Cor. 15) and now has everlasting, never-ending life, can fall away from his standing via sin. It does NOT mean you lose your salvation but it means you go into unbelief, not just casual doubting here and there, but complete unbelief and my understanding from the Bible is that if you go there and willingly resist God then at the end of it is premature death, physical death. You bring shame to the name of Christ, you suffer in your conscience, you make yourself and others suffer, you don't bring glory to God in Christ Jesus via works you should be living in etc. So that is what Bible says about it and why we should not resist God but obey Him. He is love, He is our Father, He wants better for us than we can imagine

@NikoFinn revelation 14 is about persevering of the saints. Many verses speak of later times believers falling away. There is no need for such a stern warning to believers if they are already saved. It's pretty clear to me that those believers (and it's a stern warning) that take the mark, will be thrown in the lake of fire. It makes no sense that if they worship the devil they would still be eternally saved because they believed and confessed at one time but then chose to accept the worship of the devil. I believe you are always saved but remaining in the faith of Jesus is the only exception.

Yes, and most loss of salvationists I have listened to, which has mostly been a huge mistake, they believe through sin we lose salvation. So.. a man enters into heaven because he does not live in unrepentant sin and faith in Jesus and what He did. That is, my friend, a false heretical gospel. Discipleship must never be mixed into our salvation and positional righteousness in Christ Jesus as much as a child is always a child of his parents despite of the behavior but he should respect his parents.
