I had a total reverse shoulder replacement surgery. Can you do these Exercises with a prosthetic shoulder

LOVE the shoulder stretches and massaging! Gotta share!! Massaging the pectoral muscles, right by the shoulder, helps the shoulder too! And massaging the subscapularis (spelling) in the armpit has helped my clients and my shoulder pain! You guys are FABULOUS!!! Happy New Year!!! Stay well!! :)

Quite often when I've had an injury, I need help and advice immediately but local clinics say there's no availability for several days. So I turn to youtube and always find your advice to be the most useful and direct. Great for anyone who cannot find or afford professional assistance (I'm in NZ where clinicians are hard to find)

That you all put these up for free is admirable. I've successfully changed the way I sleep and corrected a great deal of my posture problems, partly with help from your videos. The statue of liberty stretch has liberated a muscle group that I've had a knot in for MONTHS. Its not suddenly 100% better, but I'll take a muscle that feels like its fatigued over a muscle that outright hurts like heck. Thanks B&B, you guys rock!

Just done all the above. I've had a tendon tear in my right arm now for 3 years. The pain though better, is just not going away. It's my own fault as i continue to train as usual. Many thanks as always gentlemen. Love your videos. Blessings for a happy new year.

I have frozen shoulder on my left shoulder from sleeping on my side. Lots of boxing workouts and chiropractic adjustments are helping.

Great help, guys. I have suffered a lot with shoulder problems, and now in just a short few tries, on the first day, I'm getting some relief. Just now I was doing some of your suggestions, and while doing the 'hang on to the chair, push the shoulder joint up, and step back' something popped. Not sure what it was but I'm feeling some relief. I'll try not to re injure it, and keep doing the exercises. I think you've given me the most help yet. Thank you.

Thank you I have been suffering with horrendous shoulder pain since April, started some of these exercises 2 days ago, I'm pain free, unbelievable !!!!! Mostly the squeezing shoulder blades 😁

I used the massage technique that you suggested because my pain has been goin on for months and yesterday it caused tremendous pain that radiated into my right upper back and the pain was so bad I couldn’t move without screaming pain. The ER people had to inject anti-inflammatory meds and pain meds and then PT people came and did 10s units on the painful area. Today I watched this video and tried massaging the shoulder where you said and I am shocked how much this helped. Thank you so much

Mark Gibbs --- check out their article on pillows and how to position them. I suffered for weeks with shoulder pain and changing my Pillow position really made a difference.

Thank you for this. Some work great! Some I look forward to be able to doing in the future. Autoimmune flare up causing tendons in shoulder and down right arm to fingers to inflame. Doing yr exercises (gently that don’t hurt) Cold laser therapy, topical diclo, acupuncture, it is slowly improving Yay

I have a frozen left shoulder at the moment. Been to the chiropractor, the pain was unbearable and with needles he release the pain, got some off these excercise i have to do at the moment. To bend my arm behind my back is still to painfull, but there is improvement.

im doing this stuff, dont forget the older you get the more time you need between therapy sessions. the belt of a bath robe makes a great sling.

you can also write down the exercises and some helpful cues and stick figures and put that paper somewhere you can see, that way it reminds you to do some stretches and exercises. That's what I do, since PDFs with tables and a lot of words gets confusing to look at and follow along, I find.

You don't technically have to, especially if you're short on time, but it won't hurt and could actually help by preventing potential problems in the good shoulder.

I wonder why, sometimes, one shoulder gets worse with exercises, and the other gets better? My right shoulder is now worse and it was pretty normal, much better than the other 1 a couple weeks ago when I started the exercises.

My pain is the back shoulder blade for about 2.5 months. I can't pull my arm back at all and has traveled down my arm. Sometimes my fingers go numb. Has to be my right arm. Since COVID & in California they are tryin to do video PT but had to laugh, the PT guy stood up to show me exercise and I told him all I can see is his crotch area, he was not good at video calls. Oh well. It just keeps getting worse.

No acute fractures nor dislocations. Moderate acromioclavicular and mild glenohumeral osteoarthrosis. Incidental os acromiale. Mild right basilar atelectasis. Included soft tissues are grossly unremarkable. What in the world!! I just want it gone! Can't afford PT☹️.
