Autumn, Your nutritional/fasting/exercise advice is so bang on. It, or some close variant, is the only way most people will thrive. Thanks for condensing a somewhat confusing and ambiguous topic into something people can use to control their health. Great job!

Dear Autumn, I am a medical doctor from the Netherlands and I find this advice to be wrong, misleading and even dangerous for some people. As a nutritionist you should know the dangers of encouraging people to drink more coffee, eat more salt, eat more beef and eat 3 whole eggs a day. I gave it a dislike and encourage people to take this advice with a grain of caution.

I tend to agree as a pupil of nutrition. I also really dislike this fasting idealist approach. Very dangerous for some people.

Ive recently been ratimg a lot of beef tounge and chicken. I make my own yogurt with a 1:1 ratio of milk to heavy cream. I like berries. I off and on drink coffee with abag of vanilla chia rea or mint tea brewed with it and some stevia, milk, and coconut oil/coconit cream in my coffee. I mix green or wihte tea with my ginger lemon tea for afyernoon and right now am adding a touch of skull cap in the tea because im.dealing with nasty stress. I mix skull cap and chamomile at night for sleep because with stress my indomnia goes up baaad. Most things on ur list i consume in some format, or a variation of it. Heck for supper tonight i did a miso soup with broth (not bone broth bit broth from bioling meats because my baking pans are dirty and my kitchen sink wont drain even with a but ton of draino, a plunger, and snaking the sucker and apt management stopped all maintenence may last year sooo, kinda stuck right now. I used some onion, mushrooms, greens in mu soup and chicken breast and beef tounge. I opted for a serving of lillys choc peanut butter cups as dessert bevause monthlys plus life Stress and shit day i needed a pick me up as well as a long walk to and from the grocery store to lax out and chill. That walk was my workout today, since i was expecting management to come by at some point but they didnt so i didnt do my workout like i normally would to be here to deal with aholes. Too bad tgey ditched leaving me fteaking out all day fir no reason, on my cycle no less. Yeah, puck me up and a long telaxing walk were just wjat i needed baaad. That and a nuve relaxing shower in hotish water with good smelling soap and shampoo. Works every time!

I personally haven't experimented with carnivore, but I do see there being a case for some people eating a mostly (or fully) carnivore diet if it helps certain conditions (like autoimmunity). However, I don't think it's necessary for everyone - but I'm planning on doing a video on this in the future, as it's been a highly requested topic!

Are all eggs created equally? I have been helping out a friend who has birds in exchange for eggs. From her, I get chicken, duck, goose, and turkey eggs. They're mixed together, and what I depends on which birds are laying eggs. It's mostly chicken and duck eggs. Do all eggs have about the same nutrients? All of them are fed a combination of kitchen scraps, commercial feed, and anything they find as they range. Obviously, in winter, they rely mostly on commercial feed, and they don't lay as many eggs, but the eggs are still very good. The yolks are deep yellow, almost orange in some, the whites hold together well, and the shells are thick but don't crumble. Speaking of eggs, other friends of mine save, clean, dry, and powder their eggshells and add them to their homemade dog food and sometimes their own smoothies for a hit of calcium. Is this worth doing? Is it safe? I have just been using them for fertilizer.

You can strain fruit, definitely. The result will be similar to juicing. You should be mindful that this removes fiber and will raise the glycemic index and thereby the glycemic load of your smoothie. If you are pre-diabetic, have a family history of insulin resistance, or are diabetic yourself, then removing the fiber isn't such a great idea because your blood sugar will spike more dramatically with less fiber to slow sugar absorption. That said, berries in general are of less concern than other fruits. If you still want to strain/juice fruit, you can lower the Glycemic load by adding some healthy fats or protein either to your smoothie or just eat them at the same time as your smoothie.
