Not to try and gross yourself out either because you've stated in other videos it makes you wanna barf, but try to help some of us smokers out by quitting something that is questionably legal, extremely harmful and highly addictive. When I was younger I worked one day in a local bakery. I questioned the bugs in the huge sack of flour and was told that so many are allowed to be there. I refused to eat donuts after that. It's amazing that the government allows such things.

This is why I prefer fresh meat over frozen store bought one. I like to cook, so things like meat, eggs and veggies taste better when fresh.

We share the world with lots and lots of other creatures; there are bound to be traces of them in our foods. Also, you're eating plant/animal bits or man made chemicals... you choose. Animal bone in Jello and sheep grease in gum isn't as bad as man made chemicals to make a similar product. It's all about how you look at it. ;)

To answer your question "Who measures this stuff?", labratory technologists who work at food testing labs are the ones who measure samples of batches to make sure they meet Federal standards. Food testing labs also verify claims like "100% beef" to make sure the beef meets the Federal standard required to meet that claim.

Hey Matthew, have a bathroom within 200 feet of you? Yeah? You're breathing in poop. Every time you flush, it sends a whole cloud of poop particles into the air that can travel several hundred feet and even up floors. That;s why there's a poop particle allowance. Its literally impossible not to have some on anything. You really should have renamed this though, as for a lot of these it should be "10 things that wouldn't exist without gross ingredients". If you don't like the gum or the flavorings you must hate jello and pudding since they only congeal due to the fact they're made up of ground animal bones (usually horse and cow). The vast majority of powered products is made with seaweed as it's a natural immulsifier and allows some things to mix that normally wouldn't. So just about anything with milk and chocolate has it (they don't naturally mix) and the list goes on. But considering that just about everything we eat is gross when you look close enough at it, I don't lose any sleep over it. Its really only gross to most people because we're so far removed from our food production now a days that we're clueless about any of it.

Most of this really isn't all that bad. So you get some extra meat scraps, people have been picking bones and eating organs forever. A little wood pulp? Oh well. The worst one was probably the sheep stuff, and many places have stopped using beaver extracts because it's too expensive and inhumane. Much easier to use artificial vanilla with questionable chemicals.

About that second one, I used to eat sand, dirt, mud and even small rocks as a kid (6-7 yo) I would make these things called "mud tacos" which was just mud in a leaf topped off with sand Maybe that's why I have such a good immune system
