I don't know why only taj Mahal is so famous we have many other things
@christineparis56076 жыл бұрын
yu prashant Some places are more famous because they are easier to get too. Places like the Taj Mahal are amazing, but they are also accessible to millions. Wonders in places like extremely isolated jungles or dangerous countries will never be easy for the average person to get to, but well worth it!

Cocoo Pearl I read all the time, and reading with Google is an incredible education! You will be well educated in a short time if you read a lot, because of the wealth of detail you can uncover. I have thousands of books collected from around the world, and have found incredible things I've never heard of before. Look up books by Charles Fort. He was the pioneer of strange happenings and his books will blow your mind.

I've closed up the bell tower in Florence and man, I've seen some amazing stuff in my life but, that was truly breathtaking!
@richardbidinger25776 жыл бұрын
I've been to the Dome in Florence. There's a set of stairs and walkways in between the inner and outer domes that you can walk through (for a small fee). This passage leads to the roof that has a walkway you can see all of Florence from, as well as the original statues that used to adorn the church in a small chamber just before you go out to the walkway (newer statues have replaced the old ones outside that have deteriorated over time from the weather). If you are not physically fit (I wasn't, 235 lbs), this little side trip can be brutal (it was). Incredible view though.

We just went over the Ziggurat of Ur in my Art Appreciation class. At the top of it was a temple complex and was a shrine to the moon god Nanna. And apparently the people who built the ziggurat had a bedroom and a kitchen for Nanna. The ziggurat was also located in the center of the city.

A few of these places I never even heard of before. But I knew places like Borobudur and Newgrange was probably going to be on this list. And I only knew about Nan Madol thanks to one of my favorite Ancient Aliens episodes. When they were talking about forbidden islands. But I thought maybe Gobekli Tepe would be mention. But I guess not especially since these places mention are even just as amazing as Gobekli Tepe is.
