I originally heard of your channel from NononesenseKnowHow. That was a month ago and I watched the consolidation of the Holey Goat. I was immediately hooked because of yout personality! Even if I wouldn't have known a single thing about automotive repair I would still watch you. You are an absolute riot plus a seasoned mechanic, without a doubt I can see this channel going places. I especially love the way you include your son. I can't begin to emphasize the lifelong advantages your boy is going to enjoy and treasure having being raised with a father of your caliber! Everything else you record and post is that much better knowing you're passing on valuable life lessons to your son. God bless you and yours!

I've been here since you had the video of you going to pick up the Holey Goat. "What did I buy, or what was I thinking" really resonated with me because I've done stuff like that before. The fact that you've made the best of it and you are doing the majority of the work yourself is what I think everyone enjoys. Also, I grew up working on cars with my father, so I really enjoy you including your son whenever you can. Building a channel, cars, and memories all at the same time seems like a great investment all around. Keep up the great work and yeah, I wouldn't mind a piece of the Holey Goat to hang up in the shop!

Without a doubt, one of my favorite things about your content is the inclusion of your son on so many videos. It is nice to see you spend so much time with him,and helping him learn what it takes to revive a complete piece of junk that another has thrown away. Kids do not learn this anymore, and if my family had not taught me, I would not have half of what junk I have. I started watching on episode one of Holy Goat, and learned something from all 23 videos.

Still say the the hood for the trunk pan was my favorite. And discussing the risk of someone catching a finger in one of them holes with you. Glad to see your channel growing. I know how much time it takes to edit a video. Most people probably don't realize how much you put into 1 episode.

Hey man, I came in at about 8.8k so I was a little late but am working on catching up! I actually found you at World of Wheels first, thought you were a cool dude, and was dang impressed with the Holey Goat. It's awesome that you're just up the road and have that laid-back, life-enjoying mindset. We have a lot of the same stuff and may even have some stuff that each other needs. I send people over as I can and appreciate those you've sent my way. I'm glad to have you as an acquaintance/YT friend, haha. Post Script: Any of that has a welcome home on my "stuff wall" at the shop.

I like that you take junk and make it work on a small budget , I like that you repair stuff and don't send things out to be built , also fixing old cars and trucks built before 1980 , father son projects , I usually loose interests when you can tell they are throwing $50,000.00 into a project , have a new 50 x 100 foot shop and every tool made at hand and 7 people behind the star of the show that you never see but you can tell are there , I like homegrown shows and I love the sketchy ness and improvising that goes with that , your pulling the Engine and Trans with a baling tine with a pipe from a Clothes line was epic and keeps us laughing our assess off and that is why I am here to watch what you do , because it's soo damn entertaining ! I also like if you build a car with someone that doesn't have an old car , it could be a family member or friend that needs help with a project and needs a little push to do it or help doing it . I like what you are doing so keep it up , and thanks for taking us along for the ride because when you meet people along the way it's like we are too and that makes us want to see more

We were on vacation in Pigeon Forge during Rod Run. My wife and I were trying to get our son to sleep and watching KZfaq. We watched a video someone had posted about Rod Run and the Holey Goat compilation video auto played after that one. The combination of how terrible the Goat looked and your determination to get it going again hooked me. I watched the whole series over the next week or so. I think your personality keeps people coming back. The person we see on KZfaq seems like the person you are in real life. There's no over the top stuff you see with so many KZfaq personalities. You seem like a hard working, funny guy recording and posting stuff you'd be doing anyway and it's entertaining as hell. Keep up the good work.

I first learn about your channel (Pole Barn Garage) by tripping across it via KZfaq's algorithm within my car build searches. Started with a fellow KZfaqr (Puddin's Fab Shop...found his channel the same way) and got hooked because of the comedy spin. I saw the 70 GTO and its wounded glory, and I said to myself, that car looks familiar from the Great Texas Mopar Hoard Auction. So, I clicked on your channel, confirmed it was and started watching the multi-episode installments as you brought the "Holey Goat" back to life. Parts that I enjoyed throughout the build included the new and now official name given "The Holey Goat" somewhere around Part 9 (I can't remember exactly), the comical aspect as mentioned during the whole build with lines "We're going to lose the shop" and the registration at the "World of Wheels, Autorama" car show...that part was fantastic. Keep the comedy with the builds much like Puddin's Fab Shop has done while teaching the basic fundamentals of automotive engineering. This is how I teach others and you will find that it will attract more attention. As I previously inquired about, thanks in advance for offering up for sale parts from the "Holey Goat". People enjoy owning pieces of something when it becomes popular. I for one have several talking point items to include everything from automotive to aviation. Again, it provides another method of teaching and inspiring inquisitive minds. Keep up the great work and look forward to watching for more content...especially seeing how I'm a Mopar junkie (and Oldsmobile too), so I'll be looking forward to the rolled over Roadrunner build. Check out "Roadkill Garage" and their 1968 "Wrecked Runner"...some lessons to take from that build. Cheers, Gary

I actually first seen the channel when you went to go get the holy goat, what I think really sets your channel apart is the fact you keep it a 100% real no bs. You keep it to the basics and budget friendly like 99% of us have to do with our cars, not everybody has an unlimited bank account to build whatever. To be honest you keep it true to the origins of true hotrodding, you build a car that uses parts from a junkyard or other cars that is what hotrodding is about. Keep up the good work and continue having fun doing it, that’s what it’s truly all about.

I found the Holy Goat in 2021 after I bought a 1971 Lemans Sport in November 2021. I was looking up burnout videos of 70’s Lemans and GTO’s. When I found the Holy Goat I was glued to it and made Pole Barn Garage my first ever KZfaq subscription. I eye guzzled every episode and even joined you live and you answered one of my questions. I immediately shared your videos with my friends and broadcasted them on Facebook including in the Pontiac only clubs I belong to. What I enjoy best is when you make funny comments about how you shouldn’t try this at home and the cleaver ways you talk about the tools. One that sticks out was when you closed your computer program and then tossed your screwdriver on the ground. I also found it remarkable that when you went to the car show that you had the “original owner” (cactus) safely buckled in the passenger seat. I have since watched all your videos. As soon as I see you notification I try to watch it right away. News, Drama, Movies even date night comes to a holt when Pole Barn Garage alerts come up. I believe I’d be honored to win as I will cherish part of the Holy Goat and keep it proudly displayed for all who come to see like the Messiah. I promise to build a shrine in my garage where it will be proudly displayed next to my 1971 Lemans. Giving me inspiration to do greatness with my own Pontiac.

Literally only found your channel a fortnight ago, your channel was recommended on a Facebook post about car youtubers so had to come have a look Favourite part so far was the engine teardown of the Holy Goat, What made it stick out was it not only somehow being in one piece and not like a chunk of Swiss cheese full of holes, the reveal when you got the oil pan off and boiler 3 from the Titanic was staring back at you.. at that point I was like "yep that's toast" then you carrying on tearing in and eventually deciding to rebuild the original 400 had me stunned(what made me sub tbh), can't believe its even remotely salvageable after all it had been through (being in a GTO to start off so would have had a hard life anyway, driven into the ground, used as target practice for decades, flooded underwater multiple times, full of silt and mud and then left for dead) Will be epic seeing it run again

My favorite thing about the show is mainly your personality, you make learning about cars enjoyable and you prove that you don't have to break the bank to have a fun ride. One moment that stood out to me is when you're cutting the roof off the Grand Marquis throwing the ball and ball, trying to break the rear window and it bounced off and smashed the roof instead. Just good old shenanigans.

What I like the most is you did what so many would say is a waste of time and did the impossible. Getting that car to run and drive takes talent and determination. I get the feeling it was a bet that you took on. That you could get the GTO running and driving, and if it was a bet you clearly won the bet! Lol Its a fun project. I'm glad you did it because you show that it can be done even when its a total loss you can bring it back from the dead.

Hey there, I'm the old guy that's been following you from the beginning of the amazing transformation of the Holey Goat. I found you as I was stumbling around watching Jay Leno's Garage, Vice Grip Garage and Roadkill. I like the fact that you're real... down home and you share actual down home knowledge on fixing cars.... much like Vice Grip Garage. I appreciate it... I grew up working on cars with my dad and you do the same with your son... that's and investment that will pay back your whole life. Anyway... I love your show, stay real, stay honest and don't forget where you came from when you have over a million people watching you. God bless you

I started watching your channel from the moment I saw your beautiful GTO. I have ny minds of Holey Goat. I enjoy watching someone fix things that someone else would throw in the trash (scrap). I'm really looking forward to your next project car. Keep it up :-)

I remember seeing in my Pontiac groups on Facebook this Gto full of bullet holes beside a restored one, and I thought man who ever restored that car done dang good. Fast forward a couple weeks and I stumble across your channel and started off watching the video of the basic rundown on the story of the car to when you got it running. I like how someone is doing something with the car instead of just crushing it. And you did some pretty darn good work on it to. My favorite thing about the channel is when you gave me the heads of the original goat motor

My favorite episode was the trunk lid built to match with authentic bullet holes 😂. You threw it in the pond and the goat revival was like the lady of the lake yielding up Excalibur. Well not so much 😂. Question because the trunk lid of the holy goat was in the pond did that turn that into holy water? That could be the largest reservoir of holy water on earth. You should bottle it and fans could sprinkle a few drops on their projects during washtoration 😂

I know I'm a year late, but I first discovered you when Chris from NoNonsenseKnowHow visited you on one of his long drives home. He rescued a 71 orange Chevelle a while back (my personal dream car) and I got to watching all of his videos which lead me to you. He stopped by and you gave him and his girl a ride in the Holey Goat and I said out loud "WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT?!?!?!?!" The fact that that thing, looking the way it did, was able to drive on the road simply stunned me. Between this and the K5 step-side project, I've been watching your stuff like crazy lately. I'm a huge fan of self-deprecating humor and you provide that in spades! I'm also fairly new to working on cars (just turned 50) and I have an 88 Jeep Wrangler that I'm trying to bring back to life. Your work is an inspiration to guys like me who are not as familiar with all that comes with working on cars and can get lost in overthinking what we're doing. Great work - and I absolutely LOVE seeing your son working with you as well!

You're Real...You're like that friend that we all have that knows his shit, but doesn't act like it. That, and I owed a 1968 LeMans, that after a head on collision, got turned into the LeGoat with a '69 GTO full front clip, including the hood tach and enduro nose piece. Keep it real and do what you wanna do...

You are a conversation piece between me and my Dad. My favorite part about your channel is here what you did before I've even watched the video. That and also your interactions with people on your channel. My dad comment the idea of shooting up a bodypanel it make it fit the goat and when he saw you did just that I could hear the joy. Keep spreading smiles man. That's whats cool.

I found this channel after watching an episode of puddins fab shop, the first episode of the goats engine teardown was recommended. I also love three main things about this channel; 1, you always are trying to listen to the audience and friends, not a lot of other channels do too much of that, 2 you always bring your son in and that’s better then any teardown in my eyes, 3 it’s friggen great to see y’all shoot from the hip and make it work. Also, favorite moment in an episode would probably be,”that’s a funny looking Christmas tree” or when you magdumped the 1911 into the deck lid p.s. I got the 420th like so the Christmas tree is minty

WARNING! WARNING! .... I randomly saw the second video and was immediately hooked. I really like the fact the goat is on the road again instead of in the crusher. Too many oldies gone forever. We had shared a few comments about how we grew up and we were both raised in the garage working on cars. Seeing you keep that fire going with working with your son is something I have always wanted to do. My father got me into turning wrenches from a young age and I have had a passion for hot rods ever since, just as you have. I wish you the best with the channel. I always look forward to a new video and can't wait to see what's next for the goat and the new Mopar build. Thanks for the great content. 👍

I saw this ole car covered in bullet holes with a beautiful Pontiac engine and I thought “Hell far I’ve got to check that out” so I checked it out. And here I am with my coffee cup out begging for spare change, in this case used Pontiac parts. Great job you’ve got the jokes, the skill, and an absolutely killer narrator voice.

I have been watching your channel since the first Holey Goat video. I subscribed after watching the first video. The theme of your build made me chuckle because you made it clear that the car was going to maintain the abused and beaten down appearance. I want to build a vehicle that looks rough but runs well and is safe and reliable. If it looks sketchy people are less likely to mess with it too often. I hope you find the funding to have the original engine rebuilt. I also want to see your channel grow to be as well known as VGG, Junkyard Digs and Roadkill.

Glad to see you have now made it up to 20k. Well deserved brother. I've enjoyed a ton of your content so far and eve though my 1970 project lemans only has a 350, my favorite video you have mad so far was the breakdown and diagnostic of the original 400. There are not a ton of Pontiac GTO quality content youtube videos out there and after finding yours through the GTO FB group I've been hooked ever since.

I was pointed to the channel by another channel, and I can't recall who it was! Maybe Mortske? Vice Grip Garage? Junkyard Digs? One of them most likely. The channel mentioned a Goat full of bullet holes and I had to see it. When I saw it sitting on the trailer I just stared and stared. It was like a trainwreck on a flatbed. My initial reaction was, "What's Left??" Evidently much more than I had anticipated! I loved listening to you talk about the car in honest terms - but with traces of humor, hope, and "screw it let's do it" mixed in. It truly changed my perspective on what condition of car is worthy of resurrection! Now I look at project cars differently. Some are not worthy of historical restorations. But there are ten Holey Goats to every Trophy Queen, and it is time for those ten to shine in their own ways. Every car is sacred, my son.... My favorite moment was watching you craft a trunk floor from a door skin (or was it a Hood?). It was a brilliant reuse of metal, and gave a lot of hope to those of use who have more ingenuity than money! Thanks for taking all of us along on this adventure. 🐐

I stumbled across your first Holey Goat video after running out of new Vice Grip Garage videos to watch. You kind of took the whole idea of "Don't junk it cause you can fix it" to an astronomical level, previously unseen by Earthly human mechanic-type people. I really like that!! I haven't missed any of the Pole Barn Garage videos since Holey Goat episode 1. Can't wait for the Rolled Runner episodes to start up. Keep up the great work! I draw great motivation from what you did with the Holey Goat. I'm ready to find my own project now! Oh, and by the way, my wife still hates you.
