the "perfect opportunity" thing is actually a cop out you use yourself when you're scared of change. You know, deep down, that the perfect moment is never gonna come, so postponing whatever you want to try indefinetely is inevitably the end result of the "perfect opportunity" strategy.

I’ll be 27 in May. I started seeing all of this the best 3 yrs, especially in ‘22. What a eye opening year for me. I’ve learned a lot. By 37, 10 full years from now, I’ll be the absolute best version of myself. That’s a fine goal of mine broken down into several. This was great advice & I needed this to be engraved more.

Well over 30 here. Everything is spot on and the sooner you learn these things, the better. I'd add that you need to invest in some decent dress clothes as you get older. Even if you don't have a job where you dress formally, it's inevitable as you get older the more formal events you need to attend (marriages, funerals, business related, etc.). Great video!

I needed to hear the point that "it's never going to be the right time". I always work towards a multitude of goals, wanting to achieve them all to perfection before pursuing the next chapter. This has resulted in putting off entering serious relationships, starting a family, enjoying travelling the world, pursuing other interests and so forth. I always figured time was on my side. Now I am 34 and am left baffled, wondering where all that time went. I can't explain it but it seems time just passes by faster and faster the older you get so you have to get moving. Another comment stated with was a cop-out. I am not sure this is always true but it could be an underlying motive in your subconscious many are not even aware of. For myself I want to have all my ducks in a row so to speak in order to make sure I am well positioned to provide for a family and spouse and have put off other personal desires due to other obligations. This video and reading some of the comments have given me lots to think about. Thank you.

"enjoying travelling the world .." I'm older than you. 9/11 was eventful, for me. I wondered to myself: if *I* was in the staircase trying to get out - what would be *my* biggest regret? For me, it was travel. As one ages, friends and siblings get married, have kids - and are not available as travel partners. So, once the skies opened up, I took that trip to see the Grand Canyon. And, I've been traveling ever since.

EXACTLY what I'm going through at 35. To add to this.. was waiting for financial stability to settle down in a relationship and ended up losing massive amount of savings on crypto and stock market investments. Now I'm further behind financially then I was 5 years ago. Things didn't go according plan and time wasted.

This is wisdom clearly based on experience. One thing I would emphasise is time: as a young man I was impatient and always wanted things yesterday. The result usually entailed being inconsistent and failed projects because I would give up too easily. Be patient and don't think in weeks or months, but in years and decades.
