Just listening to you guys I can only imagine the feeling of that amount of pressure. It's really cool that you can put that much equipment in a medium size room. My hat is off to all three of you and a special thanks to Jeff to be able to bring that kind of excitement to anyone who wants to go that far with their home theater. Looking back many years ago I had a friend over and demoed the 1812 Oveture with some 15 inch Radio Shack sealed speakers a nice Yamaha amp and a nice record player. After the cannons went off he got up and went outside so I followed and asked him what was up. He said the bass from the speakers made him feel like he was going to throw up. I played that same track for many of my friends but he was the first one that had to leave the house. You guys really ought to try it out. You all have some stout equipment and should easily handle the cannons. One thing for sure is I bet you will want to hear it more than once. Thanks again for the video!

What's up Scott and Youthman! Your room is freaking crazy! I can't even imagine that in person. It has to be one tell of an experience. I have a question if you can help me out. The platform you built for the buttkickers. Did you build it out of 3/4 plywood or did you use mdf? Also I know you got 4 buttkickers but would you got good tactile with only 2? I'm thinking about building platform and install 2 buttkickers in the middle of 2 sets of chairs. Pretty much the same way you have it but with only 2

Hi Youthman - Nice content and some great videos. Thanks a lot for sharing these. Have a question - I am trying to upgrade my HT to 9.2.4 Dolby Atmos Config. Getting a pair of SVS Ultra Towers + Center for my front 3. Getting Klipsch Inceiling CDT 5800. However want to know if SVS Prime Elevations would be better option. I am going to keep my Klipsch 15 Inch Subs as is along with my Klipsch RP 502S surrounds. Also planning to go seperates this time with Emotiva XMC 2 Processor + Emotiva XPA Gen 3 7 Channel Front/Center/Front Wide + Outlaw 7000x 7 Channel for surrounds. Any issues with pairing 2 diff amps like Emotiva and Outlaw 7000x together ?

@@Youthman Oh, yeah. Sounded terrible. But still better than what I have. Mine sounds like those recordings of crazy car setups for competitions that get like 160dB. Only I only have a single 12 (SVS PB-2000), not like 10 18s. Nu the way, I don't get those guys. I mean... I love loud bass. But 160dB??? I don't think I could stay in those cars for more than half a second.

Vinny Diesel well the 228HT are 2-way and do not use a coaxial driver. They are just using a single 1.4” compression driver for 650hz and above. www.parts-express.com/bc-de990tn-14-titanium-horn-driver-8-ohm-4-bolt--294-6046

I have a question for you sir since you talk about the technical points. While playing stereo music through a marantz av receiver set to lfe mode and the same in the subwoofer I found in a particular song and in a particular place the base completely missing where as playing the same song with my other system which has a stereo integrated amplifier the entire song is great. Now with the av receiver too the entire song sounds superb but in a particular place the base sort of dissapers. Can tell the reason

I know the answer as I rectify problem s whic r real and not big talks and brand promotions. So y see where y stand and who needs help. By the way a easy one for you. Playing a analog turntable using a av receiver instead of a integrated amplifier advisable or not and if yes is it possible to get analog flavor when you use a av receiver specially marantz.
