Hi, I'm from Nigeria, live in Abuja and I can confirm that the sounds of an owl can traumatize you! Having lived with a female huge white owl (don't know the species) who lived in my bedroom ceiling of my new house, proceeded to lay eggs and hatched 7 chicks! I can honestly say that they have deprived me and my husband of our sleep for 3 months. Yeah traumatizing to say the least

My friends dad who passed away several years ago was a MASH Medic during Nam and every few days the MASH he was stationed at would get several mag dumps thrown at them by the Vietcong, no-one was ever injured though, the mag dumps were only aimed at the perimeter and was purely a scare tactic and every time he heard a burst of gunfire on TV even if it was a documentary he'd completely shutdown due to him associating that burst on TV as a mag dump being thrown at the MASH.

I just discovered this channel. It's both informative and hilarious at the same time. I love the analogies and nicknames. It's also a refreshing counterpoint to the delusional social media anthropomorphization of wildlife. No, wildlife is NOT benign, cute, gentle, or "can show humans what love & harmony is." Nature is brutal, messy, violent, and ill-mannered.

@Flightless Lord I made my comment because there's a tendency on social media to post videos and have cute music in the background saying how sweet all these animals are and then people go out in the wild and think they're going to take a selfie with a bison, play with bear cubs, or get a close up with an alligator and end up maimed or killed. I live out in the middle of the woods in a rural area by the Olympic mountains, backed by 3500 acres of state forest land with bear, coyote, mountain lions, bobcats, fox, raptors... surrounded by wildlife & nature in it's primitive form. There's life-and-death struggle everywhere, 24/7. I've seen some pretty brutal, violent things. I've also seen tender, funny, amazing, and courageous animal behavior. Have calm, "gentle" deer in my yard every day who let me get within a couple of feet of them, but if they were pushed to it, they could kick your skull in with their pointy little toes and wouldn't think twice about it. 😵‍💫🦌

After almost 27 years on earth, I didn't know that barred owls could laugh, until about six months back. Out for a 2am smoke, and with no build up or other hooting, I hear one single laughing noise. It must've been on the roof of the building, or on a tree right above me, bc it sounded insanely close, almost as if it was right in my ear. Seriously, look it up if you haven't heard it. It was just so unnatural and out of place in the silence. I guarantee you've never seen a grown man run inside so fast, I thought that bitch was a DEMON fr Like five days later I happened to find a video of it and was so relieved

honestly at this point earth is just wilding. imagine being an alien and coming here and immediately getting jumped/taunted by like 50 different types of birds then the humans are like "oh lol we barely even consider them dangerous"

There is actually a mammal I think it's a marsupial and it has been miss elbows and can suck the Venom and then bite you but one thing is for certain if aliens came to Earth in 2020 or 2021 or any years pacing The Fallout of 2020 or just in Australia in general they probably died and I'm not even talking about when Nature was on steroids and dinosaurs that had a bite force of over 100000 pounds per square inch were commonplace creatures that were literally bulletproof creatures that could do you know impale you creatures that could move part of them beyond the speed of sound and we're bigger than what nowadays we would consider likely to be possible and let's not forget that there were Galloping crocodiles and there were crocodiles had measured 40 feet anytime mention the Titanoboa

GAMER TIP: pause at 15:20 and tap the ,< key and the .> key to go forward and back on the hawk headshot frame-by-frame. you can see when the duck notices him but it's too late lol. The bird is in the shot for exactly one frame but you can see it's shadow coming. dude is pushing 230mph for those interested and that close to the ground as well. absolutely insane goku level speed on this lad.
