That's very true but realistically, HE didn't have no business being with a baby. Many of us, regardless of how involved our parents were made poor choices and by the grace of God, we made it. But every adult in her life dropped the ball because clearly this was no secret. It's a sad and maddening situation but when it's all said and done the onus is on that predator who took her life

One girl, her mother didn't even know she owned a cellphone. She met a grown man online, he met her at and bought her a phone. It has been plenty of parents who are in the home and involved in their kids life. You have to realize we live the age of the internet, cellphones and social media. You can't watch your children 24/7 and know what they are doing all the time. It has been plenty of kids, who lied and hidden the fact that they were talking to anyone. Kids get online and meet these people who pretend to be a teenagers They get on website parents don't even know about I D Channel yesterday just showed a episode about a white 12 yr old boy, who ran off with a grown man. They lie and pretend to be a teenage girl or boy or a young adult. These predators will find a way to try to get kids.

Same in my household as when we were growing up! My parents didn’t play either! Oh I wanted to get with the older guys with cars and money. But everyone knew my parents and i wasn't good at sneaking

at 52 my mama still demands a heads up on my whereabouts and feels TOTALLY justified in it. just being honest.

@@SpillitBoyTV and at 42 my mama does the same thing. Where I am, who I'm going out with, and when I'm coming back. (Not when I "THINK" I'm coming back, lol. I now do the same thing with my boys. They think I'm a crazy lady.

agreed, 18 is fine for consent in my opinion. earlier than that is a recipe for disaster.

I hate to break it to you, but this child was way behind. I was 12 years old in the 6th grade. I graduated high school at 17 years old.

i graduated at 17 from high school and the majority of my peers were 18.

@@SpillitBoyTV maybe she has a late birthday and had to start late, then she stayed back a year (not me trying to justify why she 16 in the 8 grade, lololol). I just wanna know why she was allowed to date a 21 year old at her age. And did I hear you say she was living by herself? Where they do that at?? Lord knows I was doing things at 16 I shouldn't have, but these days are not the same. You can't even tell ur kids to go outside and don't come back until the street lights come on for fear that something tragic is going to happen. I'm going to be praying for this family cause this is something NO parent should have to go through, no matter what the circumstances are.
