....and a broken lamp.....! That made me giggle.....as I glance around my own bedroom and am conscious of the stain on the carpet where the cat threw up.....just keep on , keeping it real.....we don't need another disco-ball backdrop to distract from the content....and some of us are only here for the Ikea bedside tables and broken lamp decor ideas ;)

My mother's been a hairdresser for decades and has always championed using facial moisturisers in the ends of your hair. I love Phyto 7 but find it does much the same thing. Also, just discovered Double Serum a few months ago - it's become an every day staple and can't imagine being without it now. Just makes skin feel instantly hydrated. Love your beauty videos and love how you are one of very few youtubers I watch who seem just as 'real', as you did when I started watching you nearly a decade ago.

I bought the Bourjois concealer when you first recommended it last year and it has fast become one of my favourites! I use it as my more heavy duty concealer (for tough blemishes or when I have barely slept) and the Glossier one for my more easy/better skin days! Now I need to try the Trish McAvoy one! I also love your dry shampoo, I LOVE it and I like that it doesn't get too gritty or leave a white/greyish cast and the smells are epic!!!

Most important skin care, adequate sleep, healthy foods, adequate fluid intake, not being stressed out all the time, no smoking and drinking and avoiding too much sun.

That Trish McEvoy eye lift concealer is gorgeous, well it helps that you are too! But what shade did you use? It looks v pink in the vid, which is what I need, but it looks more yellow online.

We’ve had a new mattress for maybe coming up to six months. It’s still on the floor. We were going to make a bed out of palettes but we have not got round to it!! We also have renovations that have been waiting for years... anyway.. pleased I’m not the only disorganised one!

Great too see your favorites. These Are my favorites of the year: Decleor cleansing milk( keeps my skin clear, moisturised) , Decleor Harmonie calm creme. Loreal lash pardise mascara. And rituals cleansing foam and oil- the smell really good😊👏🏻🌸

Gosh I love your beauty videos. They are so useful and I am using many of the things you have recommended. I enjoy your gentle humour and straightforward manner. This was a great video and I have noted a couple of products. I would personally love to see what you thought were (or are) the best or most beautiful makeup products - eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, highlighters, blush etc. I’d also highly value your recommendations for instant beauty - you know, things that brighten, tighten or generally have an instant effect if you have a special occasion. I am going in search of your blog now. x

Never boring! Always enjoy your chats. 2 questions if you have time: what's that eyeshadow you're wearing, is it a cream or a powder? It's gorgeous. And, I bought the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow in the Light shade just before Christmas. I have fair skin. But I find it hardly shows up on me, can hardly see it, yet on you it is clearly visible. Are you wearing a darker shade? Love your channel, glad you're back

glad to have you back, as always you look lovely! thanks for the honesty & that some of the products that have debuted over the las few years have been crap & another glitter or highlight of another.... there are tried & true products for fresh skin & I believe it starts with skincare first & foremost,! alot of young ladies need to know skincare should be first & light makeup later on. just saying.... you have always put soo much into your skincare videos & minimal beautiful makeup I could only wish some of these young ladies to find your channel & learn something! good day to you & your family!

I just recently had my first baby and I'm still breastfeeding, and have been losely using the sunday riley luna oil but stopped it because I wasn't sure if its safe because of the retinol in it. do you know if it can affect your milk supply?

I'm curious, what shade do you wear in the Guerlain cushion foundation? And if you've also tried the Lingerie de Peau Fluide liquid version of the foundation, do you wear the same shade in that? I've hardly seen anyone talking about the product, but I own it and absolutely love it as well (I'm just not sure if I have the perfect shade for me).

I was so excited to see a video from you! I just started using Retinal this year and my fine lines have disappeared as well, especially on my forehead. Is the dry shampoo for sale in the US? Can I purchase it from the UK? I know moving house with young children can be a challenge. I remember the master bedroom was last on the list somehow. I hope you can take one day at a time and enjoy your children. They grow up so fast. We (my husband and I) are expecting our fourth grandchild in 3 years. So, I can relate a bit to your situation :) But, Christmas was a chaotic, wonderful time. Happy New Year!!
