First video in a new build series on my 1973 Cadillac S&S Hearse. In this video I tear down the full suspension in preparation for the air ride install.

Cool ride Callahan. Great overview of things to come.

I have a '73 S&S almost identical to Callahan's. Was hoping he'd show more of the inside. Anyway, that's a really clean one and since there were only about 2,000 Cadillac commercial chassis built that year for all the major coachbuilders, all of whom used the same chassis for ambulances, flower cars and the half-dozen or so different hearse models, he's got an extremely rare ride. I DO hope that the mods he makes are reversible so that someday his ride can be restored to factory stock. I keep mine that way! Cheers on a very cool car!

Awesome car, I have a '78 hearse i'm building now... it's not as clean as yours, we have a ways to go. Putting it on bags is the goal after the body/paint is done. Love seeing this content!

She looks amazing. And please don’t pant stupid flames or skulls all over it.

I agree... I hope he keeps it as original as possible as its value will increase and another car will be preserved and not bastardized

I'm about to buy a 73 that doesn't have engine or transmission. Do you possibly know what would be compatible?
