@kazumamishima1091 The idle adjusment is kind of hidden, look in between the carbs. It should be closer to the left side of the carburators. It has lines going vertically around the whole entire head of the screw. Clockwise is to get the idle higher, get the bike warm and slowly turn it, you will hear the idle change

The float bowl screws (top side cover also) are jis (Japanese industry standard) not Phillips exactly. Get an appropriate size jis bit is a better way to go. Impact will work with #2 phillip. Your call

I have a 1979 Yamaha special 850 that had been sitting since 1999 roughly. I was able to get it started and when it started it was at full throttle and I’m not sure on where the idle adjustment screws are on the carbs and how many turns it should roughly be at. Any help with what I need to do would be great since I’d like it to idle for abit and see if it will go into gear while running on its stand. I will definitely be rebuilding the carbs though. Just never took one apart or messed with the idle adjustment before and don’t want to mess it up since this is my first motorcycle.
