With the intro out of the way, it's time to turn some wrenches on our NX2000. Up first is removing that aftermarket cruise control unit...which I will never use and hey, weight reduction is always good, right? Next we put a stop to that volcano of oil known as a our old valve cover gasket. #nissan #sr20 #carrepair

@@autoobsessivegarage I bought my nx1600 a month ago for 250 bucks, replaced the fuel pump for 125 and now it's my winter car

@@aetherkiller sweet winter beater. The digital gauge cluster in the NX1600 is so damn cool. Great buy!

Got a 100 nx (1600) myself. Its my first car. Changed the brakes and put an exhaust on it. Most people get a golf or a polo in the netherlands. But this has been the most fun car to own. It is so easy to work on and its the closest thing to an affordable JDM car these days

And even the 1.6 liter engine combined with the t bar sunroof makes the passengers smile wich is the best feeling

That sounds like a sweet ride. Does the 100 come with the digital speedo over there? I wish my NX2000 had that. It’s so cool.

I miss my NX2000. It was not much off the line, but it was beast between 30 and 90. And the cornering was unmatched.

Once that SR20 gets into the revs the car really does move. The handling is incredible.

@autoobsessivegarage mine was an automatic. There was one more in town that was a stick. It had a lot of rust though. But the woman that owned it, loved it. When i blew the tranny in mine (rust free) i suggested she have it, and have her mechanic put her tranny it. About 8 months later, i saw it in the wild driving around.
