Nice job. I just did the same thing on my 97 c1500. I didn’t have to raise the motor but had to replace the balancer. Fel pro actually has some good instructional videos that are good time savers. Keep up the good work.

Awesome videos! I have the same leaking problem except mine is a K1500... yeah im not looking forward to dealing with that 😅 How'd it turn out? No leaks, no issues?

Funny you asked. Just found a drop in my garage and the dorman timing cover seal started to drip after only 3 months. I also noticed a drop of oil on my flywheel cover, so maybe a rear main as well, which is 2 years old. I bought a pcv valve to make sure I don't have positive crankcase pressure first before I do an update on this video.

@grenadecraig9619 yep I wanted a metal timing cover replacement, but couldn't find one in stock anywhere. This will be my last dorman part.
