The Tracker’s quarter round strikes again! The proof is in the pouding! Great job Jim!

There is this guy in Costa Rica with a big knife. He shaves wood like a BOSS! We recently walked a trail labeled "the bamboo trail" at a wild camp and now I want to ask how well this great tool performs with bamboo?

I've taken down sections of bamboo well over 20' high and probably close to 10" diameter with the Woodsman no prob. Bamboo is still a new material for me and I've got a lot to learn on processing it properly. There's so much you can do with bamboo, I need to learn some more.

Good stuff! I would imagine many people own an Origin Knife because of your amazing videos. Count me as one of them. I purchased, a Woodsman because of you( you know this), and it is my favourite blade. That speaks, volumes as I have a huge collection of blades, but also ; being a knife maker myself. Thank-you!

I can do one better bud, write to info@originknives.co.uk and talk to Kevin, he's a one man shop and it's his design. Soon it will be up on his website but right now that's the best place to ask questions.

You're correct, before 2018 I thought they were a movie prop....boy was I wrong!

Since I switched over to a Kukri as my “primary tool”, I’ve been wanting try this but I’ve been a bit cautious about pulling the blade towards my arm, now I’m seeing how you’re almost keeping the cutting edge parallel to the work, al while holding your angle. Is that close to what you’re doing?

Good catch bud, I keep my hand and arm below the line of the blade. However I would admit that it's not the safest cut to do but for shorter pieces of wood it works for me.

Muy bueno! Three years ago if someone had told me I'd be watching videos on KZfaq of some dude shaving curls with a really awesome knife I'd have thought they were a wee bit cray-cray. 😉 #LookAtMeNow

If you are going to be honest about it, a hat full of curls isn’t much of a challenge to a tracker in reality is it? Perhaps there should have been a time limit to make it a bit more “interesting”. Or say if a tracker is used you have to make a bucket of curls or do it blindfold 😂
