Alright, reading through your comments I need to make a couple of things VERY CLEAR. There was NO NEGATIVE context towards Joe Biden at all, there was no comment about Joe Biden aside from it being Joe Biden. I carry ZERO political affiliation and have no bias towards either party. If you took it negatively then that is your perception of how and what was said because it was not meant to be that way. Understand that it is a very high honor to be that close to ANY president because of security concerns and we are all very much happy for them to get that chance! No we do not thing Jin has a large ego it was a joke that we laughed and went on trying to fit into Jin’s humor of the current scene. The comment made “Imagine getting your ass kicked by someone that sings like that” AGAIN is NOT NEGATIVE. It is meant as someone that sings that well is also very badass and it’s awesome. We are in awe of these members and their capabilities as a whole and as individuals. Like our reactions are genuine and individual to each person and we are having our own interpretations of the content we are reacting to, also realize we have context behind what we are saying and how we say it. Ask instead of assuming we are talking negative because not one thing we said was negative towards the group, individuals, or even the president of the United States.

“I mean granted, it’s Joe Biden, but…” you can take this one of two ways. Oh he hates Joe Biden and all democrats. OR He means it as Joe Biden is known for big scenes of Equality and Acceptance.

hi, I hope you understand that Army is worldwide & for some English is not the primary language. Even the sense of humour is different. Words, inflections, metaphors, double entendres may not translate well to non English speaking Armys. A lot uses translator too, so sometimes the words may come off strong because the intended message is lost in translation 🙂 Especially you are new there is a bit of a learning curve both with Army and you. Just be honest about BTS its okay, you dont even have to like everything. keep going.

@@tigerteel I think it’s really important that everybody listens when they receive feedback or criticism. It sounds like quite a few people commented on the Joe Biden thing. Whether we intend it or not, sometimes our communication comes off in a way it was not intended. In this case, your words said one thing, but your body language added to the communication that might have confused people. As a counsellor for years, we learn to pay attention to all the meta-communication. I have to admit that it rubbed me the wrong way as well as I received what you were saying as “it’s a great honour, but too bad it’s Joe Biden, but what can you do”. It was the words said, the flip of the hand, and tone. Again, thank you for clarifying. I just wanted to comment this because although it must be frustrating for you, it’s important to understand that when many people picked up on it, they were likely reading both the different levels of communication. I really enjoy watching you guys and following along. My son is looking at enlisting (Canada) and there’s some thing that’s giving me great joy to have these two very different parts of my life converge! The advice that I gave to clients over the years when miscommunication has happened in personal or job situations, it’s to listen with your whole body and thank the person for giving you the feedback. In this case you said you didn’t intend to communicate what people interpreted, but it sounds like that’s the way it was taken. Try not to receive this feedback as criticism.

@@tigerteel I just take it as an unnecessary comment that does not belong in a BTS reaction video or any music reaction video. I also took it as a put down to the importance of their invitation because it was from Biden. Being given a platform to discuss a topic that is extremely meaningful to them is ultra important. They have been victims themselves. I have listened to hundreds of reaction videos but that was a first for me. You will find out that their Army of fans is very protective of BTS. Have a great evening!

Such a generous heart that man has. How he has thoughtfully pre-recorded monthly mini messages for ARMY since January, then last Valentine's and we will hear from him in March just moves me beyond words. Regarding Jin becoming an assistant instructor... keep in mind that he's 30, which is older than literally every other enlistee there. I know you guys know age-based hierarchy is a huge thing in Korea. And of course everyone who goes to train there will know who he is. No one is going to backtalk Jin of BTS, lol. Like his music or not, the dude brings billions of dollars to the Korean economy, so the military is probably going to be a little extra careful how they handle him--even if he's not asking for any sort of special treatment.

Here's some updates on the members since this video was made Jin- Jin released his debut solo single album called The Astronaut in October which he worked on with the band Coldplay. Shortly after he performed the song for the first time at Coldplay's tour stop in Argentina. He also appeared on numerous shows to promote the song. He also became the spokesperson for the ramen brand Jin Ramen in November. Jin also hosted a new variety show with famous Korean chef Baek Jong-won. The series is centered on two things: making alcohol and eating food, with special guests and random activities sprinkled in to keep it spicy. Jin’s Traditional Alcohol Journey premiered November 12 on BTS’s KZfaq channel. On December 13, 2022 Jin enlisted as an active duty soldier to complete his 18 months of mandatory military service and is expected to be discharged in June of 2024. Suga/Agust D- Suga has been taking numerous lessons and became the global brand ambassador for Valentino. He's also hosting a talk show where he provides the food and atmosphere while the guest provides the alcohol. Suchwita airs on their KZfaq channel, BangtanTV. Suga also worked on and featured in the song That That by PSY (the man who sang Gangnam Style). And Suga is set to become the first member of BTS to embark on a solo tour starting in April. It's also be speculated he is working on new music, but he's been very quiet about it. J-Hope-J-Hope released his first solo album Jack In the Box last July with 2 music videos for MORE and Arson and became the first Korean artist to headline a major US festival- Lollapalooza. He had a feature on the song Rush Hour by Crush and has been to numerous fashion shows. He performed on the MAMA awards and New Years Rockin Eve in New York City. J-Hope also released his documentary called J-Hope In the Box on Disney Plus that shows the making of his album and his performance at Lollapalooza. RM- RM released his debut solo album called Indigo back in December with featured arists such as Anderson .Paak and Erykah Badu and many others along with 2 music videos Wild Flower ft. Youjeen and Still Life featuring Anderson .Paak He also featured on the song Sexy Nukim by Balming Tiger. It's also being speculated RM will be on Pharrell's next album. He performed on NPR's tiny desk concert and Rolling Hall in South Korea for 200 fans. He also hosted the Korean variety show The Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge where the show’s expert panelists discuss literature, physics, forensics, and astronomy. He also has been visiting numerous art museums and is currently working on new music too. Jimin- Jimin has been busy working on his debut solo album which Jimin says she be out in March. He's been doing tiktok's covering numerous BTS dances. He was also named the global brand ambassador for Dior and attended their fashion show in Paris, France. Earlier this year he got to work with and feature on the Vibe by Taeyang (a member of the legendary kpop group BigBang). Working with Taeyang is a dream come true for Jimin since he's been a fan of Taeyang's since he was young. V- The cool shade stunner has a starring role in a new variety series. Jinny’s Kitchen takes Taehyung and his famous friends to Mexico, where they open up a Korean eatery run by popular actor Lee Seo-jin. It will premiere February 24th on Amazon Prime. V also landed on the cover of Vogue Korea in September and is currently working on his solo music. Over the summer, he featured in Disney +’s In the Soop: Friendcation, a variety show that follows a four-day friendcation to a seaside town. Jungkook- Jungkook featured on Charlie Puth's song Left and Right last year and has also been working on solo music. He sang the song Dreamers for the World Cup soundtrack and performed in Qatar for the World Cup's Opening Ceremony. And while we didn't see Jungkook a lot after his performance he has recently come back to do his famous record-breaking livestream sessions where he sings numerous songs from not just BTS but other artists as well. BTS announced last June at their annual Festa that they would be taking a break from group activities to focus on their solo endeavors. But BTS decided to continue their variety show Run BTS. In June 2022 BTS released their anthology album called Proof with the title track Yet To Come and performed on Korean music shows for the first time in over 2 years. In October 2022 BTS performed their last concert as BTS until 2025 in Busan, South Korea in a bid for Busan to host the World Expo in 2030. It was then announced after the concert that BTS would fulfill their mandatory military service after their solo schedules were completed and the group planned to reunite around 2025. BTS earned 3 more Grammy nominations and were named Artist of the Year at the MAMA awards for the 7th year in a row. All the members of BTS now have a friendship tattoo of the number 7 and when all 7's are drawn together it makes the name BTS. BTS also became the first kpop group to have all members chart on the billboard hot 100 as soloists.

the fact that all members have writing and producing experience is largely thanks to SUGA and especially RM. both of which came in with this ton of experience in music writing and production and most importantly they had this burning passion for music. coming from underground rap they didn't respect artists who couldn't create their own music so from the very start they made sure bts wouldn't be that kind of group. RM used to make mixtapes for the vocalists to teach them the history of hiphop, guided them into songwriting, suga taught the members producing etc. there is still a big difference in their credits obviously, jin has maybe a handful of writing credits while RM and suga have written and produced hundreds of songs even for artists outside of bts

In October of last year they actually did do a free concert for about 62,000 in person and then it was lived streamed for the rest of the world. Btw, Wembley Stadium in the UK holds about 90k people - it's where Queen had their historic performance. Now, imagine being one of the guys in this humble group of young, hard working dudes from SK having THAT audience sing your song to YOU in your native language? My heart would surely probably burst! During a break in the concert, BTS's staff messaged the audience via the large stage screen with instructions for the surprise, then showed the lyrics in karaoke style so every non-Korean speaking fan could pronounce the Korean lyrics properly. It was one of those uniquely touching, biggest moments in music history that received less recognition than it should've. JK, the youngest, was barely 20/21 years old, with Jimin and V (aka, the 95ers/born in 1995) just 2 years older than him.

Jin has accomplished so much and will be one of if not, the eldest trainee in his batch. He is already 31 in Korean age, 30 international age. Consider his education qualifications and wealth of experience. He has a masters degree, is very intelligent, witty, wise, hard working, with strong leadership skills and a disciplined work ethic that surpasses the norm. No surprise he excelled. His team even won a talent contest which Jin helped his team with choreo etc and their reward was an extra day off. Thank you for taking the time to get to know our Bangtan Sonyeondan. Was also interesting to hear your own stories. It is also fascinating that except for JK, all BTS are older than Teel. Reaper is not much older than Jin. I appreciate how you are opening your minds and letting go of preconceived ideas about BTS and like you, we are all trying our best not to prejudge people or anything around us that we know nothing about. With BTS, we reflect more, listen more, try to live more compassionately, show our feelings more, find strength in our vulnerabilities and just share positivity amidst our own struggles. More power to you ! P.S. Watching you with your dogs made me smile. All BTS have pets - dogs, cats, etc Jin even wrote a touching ballad called Tonight for his beloved dog who passed. Have a listen. It is beautiful.

Women are more open about their fandom for BTS because why not, we get made fun or for liking almost anything. And if it’s male dominated, women are told they’re only supporting it because of men. So yeah, women are going to be more loud about their love of BTS, but my husband is more excited about a potential Agust D concert next month than I am.

Jk was 13 and Taehyung aka V 15 years old when they became trainees. The members had a trainee period from 1-3 years. Korean age is always one or two years more than your international age. South Koreans consider that everyone is one year old at birth. By June 2023, the Korean age system will no longer be permitted to be used on official documents in South Korea. This is to reduce confusion by adopting the same system used in the rest of the world, which means only the international age system will remain. Bts international age on their debute day in 2013 were: Jin, 20 (hyung = oldest) Suga, 20 (hyung line) Jhope, 19 (hyung line) RM, 18 (hyung line) Jimin 17 (maknae line) V 17 (maknae line) JK 15 (maknae = youngest)

BTS has a special place in my heart, I did 8 years in the Air Force, had very bad leadership, and was the only SSgt with 30+ airmen, no tsgt and only had a msgt. I was constantly overwhelmed with everything and had 0 guidance or assistance. BTS took me out of a dark place when no one else could, they taught me to love myself, to trust myself, and take care of myself first and foremost. After having my own 2 kids as every woman gains weight, they have also taught me to persevere and get through the trials and push to make myself better. I give them many thanks for alot of things in my life, I listen to them everyday because of the way their music makes me feel, I can laugh, cry, be upset, and be happy listening to music when I don't know the language. It takes so much to become a person like them in this world now. And tho I'll probably never meet any of them, I thank them everyday for the help they gave me and many others during their worst days. The love us ARMY have for them is not given because they demand it or expect it like most American artists, its given because they have shown over and over they deserve it. I will FOREVER be an ARMY!!! 💜💜💜

I'm literally commenting while watching you guys. Jin is the opposite of a big ego. He's super humble, and jokes A LOT. He finds it amusing that people see him as worldwide handsome so he sarcastically jokes as d deflects with humor. If you follow them and watch their vidoes and lives etc, you'd see what a humble guy he is. Wayyyy far from a big ego.

Male fan here, seen them live multiple times & my bias is Jimin. Jimin has a great lower range as well as an amazing falsetto. Jimin is also very anti toxic masculinity & has recently become the global ambassador for Dior, men are usually house ambassadors for fashion companies but because Jimin appeals to both male and female in quite a large numbers he was made global ambassador. If you search for reactors to Jimin most of them happen to be male.

"How do they have time for all that?" Literally all of us after watching this video 😂 But they sacrifice A LOT of time and work very hard. That's why they deserve everything they achieve now. The fact that they work that hard at young age and still very humble and kind, they really deserve everything they have now.

Don't worry about those mean comments. They always pop up when someone starts reacting to BTS (they twist everything and assume things). I'm really glad you pause when you talk and go back to read when you missed something. RM has the most copyrights among idols not overall in Korea. ARMY is mostly women but we have a lot of man in a fandom. If you want to know more about fandom I recommend watching xCeleste docu about ARMY.Thanks for reacting and for the bonus content! 💜Oh and V stands for Victory not visual (at least in the beginning).

Re: RM’s English skill. RM has a literal genius level IQ, 148 in high school though he tests higher now, but I am not sure the number. For reference, Stephen Hawking and Einstein were around 160. You can hear his intellect reflected in the deep layers of meaning in his songwriting. He taught himself English as a child from watching the tv show Friends. All the members are also fluent in Japanese, and are now studying English. RM said recently that Jungkook has worked the hardest and made the most progress in his English so far. Re: BTS fan base: About 2/3 are female and 1/3 are male, though I think their male fan base is growing as awareness of their talent grows. There are a lot of biases and preconceived prejudices about “boy bands” that kept men from looking into their music, but that is changing now. The age range of ARMY is also pretty evenly spread across generations from teens to 50+ age range. They have a broad appeal because of their talent and musical diversity, otherwise they would not be so big.

Hi new sub here. I'm a 40yr old BTS ARMY VETERAN (BTS ARMY pre-debut) as well as US ARMY 9/11 OEF/OIF Combat veteran whom has served in South Korea, Ft.Bragg, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Of which my stent in South Korea was pre/post 9/11. I first learned about k-pop and even performed in a dance crew through my KATUSA battle buddy at the Yongsan theater back in 2001, before k-pop got to where it is today. Although I loved k-pop I never STANNED any group before BTS. HONESTLY I knew they were gonna be huge before they debutted due to the videos they posted on YT and being 100% GENUINE in everything, which is how I found them for example. We have a saying in the BTS ARMY that "you don't find BTS, BTS finds you! When you need them most." They are a 7 member group whose spoken at the WHITEHOUSE, United Nations (3x) and Represent UNICEF whom talk about and tackles social issues, mental health, child abuse, and environmental issues to name a few. The fandom does not consist of screaming "teenage girls or just women" as many think or stereotype the BTS ARMY to be. There are actually millions of MEN , women, children and service members of all ages, races, disabilities, ethnicities, gender identification, etc. As for myself I found them while going through a messy divorce, dealing with MST/PTSD, and becoming a single mom having to navigate everything on my own. BTS have not only been a voice for millions but also a source of kindness, joy , motivation and hope. As while they were going through their struggles us (BTS ARMY) was there with them and we cheered for each other as cried together with the members. Yes, we have and will continue to be protective of BTS just like the oath I took to protect this country (USA) I served from all threats foriegn and domestic. This is due to the constant threat and mistreatment BTS has received unprovoked by those within the industry in and outside of Korea as well as the threats to their life by many. THANK YOU for your genuine reaction and giving BTS a listen with an open mind. They are a Group from South Korea. They started in a small company called BIGHIT (now known as HYBE, The now largest music label in SK and now America) which was basically bankrupt. BTS has now made the company the MOST PROFITABLE in KOREA. However, BTS is not a boyband by western definition. They are a group with a message of self love, mental health awareness, ending child abuse/violence, world change, environmental awareness, Human rights, Performance Arts and positivity to name a few. You always want to turn on your captions when watching MVs, ALL MV's are filled with symbolism in every part of the video even the tiniest thing so always watch their videos to the very last second as they leave hints everywhere. BTS and the BTSARMY is a GLOBAL MOVEMENT to promote love and posivity while covering issues which impact the youth and those whom speak out against injustices. BTS is all about art, wordplay, symbolism that makes others think and expressing themselves within the music. I recommend watching the “Introduction to BTS, The 7 members of BANGTAN” by XCeleste as well as “Nobodies to Legends”, "BTS HARDSHIPS"(which will probably trigger you) as RM and SUGA were underground rappers and heavily attacked and humiliated by those within the k-pop and underground hiphop scene. The underground called them sellouts and the k-pop idols said they don’t have the looks of a what an IDOL is in Korea. This video only highlighted tiny bits of what they're capable of. BTS actually beat the record set by MJ, Celine Dion, Adele, and the Beatles with 4 #1 albums within a little over a year and most #1s globally. BTS hit #1 on 7 BILLBOARD CHARTS and made history doing so as the only group ever to be #1 on 7 charts simultaneously, first Korean artist and only group ever to do so in history. Only group from SK to perform with COLDPLAY and be Grammy nominated 5 times. BTS stands for "BANGTAN SONYEONDAN" in Korean which translates to "BULLETPROOF BOYSCOUTS" and their adopted English name is "BEYOND THE SCENE". BULLETPROOF BOYSCOUTS means to protect the youth from the unrealistic expectations, criticisms and stereotypes that rain down on adolescents like bullets. However this slogan applies to all of the BTSARMY no matter the age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, skin color, or language. The fandom (family) is ARMY which stands for ADORABLE REPRESENTATIVE MC for YOUTH. RAP LINE: KIM NAMJOON aka RM (Real Me) = Leader of BTS, MAIN Rapper, producer formally known as RapMon/Rap Monster, former underground rap name was "RUNCH RANDA" MIN YOONGI aka SUGA/ AGUST-D = Lead Rapper, producer, composer whose underground rap name was "GLOSS". SUGA is pronounced (Shoo-Ga) which is an abbreviated form of his basketball position shooting gaurd in high school and AGUST-D is SUGA and Town of Daegu backwards which is his hometown. JUNG HOSEOK aka J-HOPE= Dance Leader, main dancer, rapper, producer, sub-Vocalist. J-HOPE chose his name as his the initial of his surname JUNG and HOPE because he wants to be the ray of sunshine to the world and his band mates. VOCAL LINE: KIM SEOKJIN aka JIN = Visual, Vocalist and eldest member PARK JIMIN aka JIMIN (JM) = Lead vocalist and Lead dancer KIM TAEHYUNG aka V = vocalist and dancer. V pronounced (bwi) in Korean stands for VICTORY/VICTORIOUS. He chose his English name to be VINCENT after Vincent VanGogh. JEON JUNGKOOK aka JUNGKOOK (JK) = GOLDEN MAKNAE (youngest) MAIN Vocalist, dancer, sub-producer, sub-Rapper DANCE LINE: J-HOPE, JIMIN JUNGKOOK, and V (TAEHYUNG) Note: ALL MEMBERS can produce, sing, rap, dance, songwrite, act, model, choreograph, and direct REMEMBER: There is a saying in the BTS ARMY, “BTS shows up when you need them most.” I believe that GOD put them in your path for a reason. Good Luck and enjoy the journey of getting to know BTS, what they stand for as a group, and each member individually. They are truly genuinely worth knowing. BTS + ARMY = BORAHAE (Eternal LOVE and TRUST) 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 TOMORROW BY TOGETHER (TXT) + (MOA) MOMENTS OF ALWAYSNESS = ONE DREAM LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF for you are the LIGHT which shines upon others like the MOON in the night sky surrounded by a MIKROKOSMOS of stars leading to a universe where SERENDIPITY and EUPHORIA awaits you with no STIGMA to contain you. For BTS will be your FILTER and cause your INNER CHILD to AWAKE.

8:25 That was 2014. They were artists on the rise, and soon to embark on their first tour, so being free wasn't because they weren't known or anything PLUS they did a free concert last October (yes, 4 months ago). They already told so in their last concert in Las Vegas in April that they would love to hold a concert for hundreds of thousands for free. And they did. They also held a concert in March in Seoul were they lost a lot of money (Jin spills all the time) bc the gvt had set up covid rules ONLY for concerts but not sport events (such as having the stadium only 1/3 full, no snacks/beverages allowed/sold inside, etc.) They are big, they are artists, and they love what they do. And much of it they do it for free (they come live for HOURS in a free platform whenever they have some time to spare, so they are like that ^^)

I love Jin and his humor. He often jokes about his good looks and BTS's superstardom. He's said that people often don't know how to act around them, especially at first meeting. If people complimented him about these and he deflected them, the situation would just continue to be awkward. So instead, he leans into these and makes jokes to break the ice. These two things are undeniable anyway. But the moment people complimented him about how he has contributed so much for Korea and the Korean music industry, that's when he gets flustered and deflects.

I’m quite disappointed by what the one in white was saying abt only girls at the concert cheering. Something abt “you can only hear girls there”. Someone please make him watch the famous “gentlemen, make some noise” moments from PTD. If you go to a sport game like soccer, baseball, football, etc. during the chants the voices definitely seem males only. Does it mean there is not a huge representative of females at sport games. But we never hear any assumptions like that in sport, but the moment it’s abt a boyband, such comments appear. People need to stop with those narratives. It gets tiring.

Also the implication that female fan bases are less important or shouldn’t be taken as seriously. As if the Beatles and Elvis etc didn’t have female fan bases and are now regarded as legends. Not that that was what the guy in white was getting at but it is a common mindset I see a lot of. The world owes female fan bases for championing a lot of legends. 🤷‍♀️ I’ll get off my soap box 😅

So, just to clarify, that list of things below each member's name are what each of them are. So for example, Jungkook's is Main Vocal, Dancer, Composer, Songwriter, Producer. That means, hes all of those things. Meaning, all over the members are songwriters and producers. However, RM, SUGA and J-hope are the main producers and songwriters for the group. Like the ones that have 'Dancer' in their description are apart of the dance line (Which are Jhope, Jimin, Jungkook and V. V was added to the line more recently- in 2018) What im trying to say is, all of the members have multiple roles within the group :)

V was NOT added to the danceline. Their choreographer Sungdeuk merely complimented him on his dancing improvements after Singularity but he was NOT officially added as part of the danceline. I don't know why some of you guys keep pushing that narrative. The 3Js are the danceline,no one else. Watch Run BTS Ep89 when Rm said all the dancers are on his team and it was Jhope,Jungkook and Jimin on his team while V and Jin were on Suga's team and that Ep was aired in 2019 after 2018 you mentioned so why didn't Rm add V. During their dance practice for Baepsae, when the whole group were doing Rock, paper, scissors (RPS). Jhope got out, then Jimin and Jungkook got out too. Jhope was so happy and said all the dancers were out and the 3 were laughing, why didn't he include V who was still trying to get out and who was involved with the other members still doing RPS. Why wasn't V part of the Butter remix if he was in the danceline. Jhope only told Jk and Jimin and they did a marvellous job of it. Why wasn't V part of the Busan rehearsal when the danceline stayed over for more practice and the other members left including V. Why wasn't V part of the comeback where the danceline had a collective stage and also a solo stage. I know yall want V to be part of the danceline so bad which is why some of yall especially his stans are pushing this narrative but Facts are not Feelings and the Fact remains that V is not part of the danceline. When Sungdeuk adds him to the danceline, we will give him his due credit. He is a good dancer tho so no hate, just pure facts.!

@@BabyDoll-qo7ol holy shit. Its not that serious. But if you wanna go there... I said that because he was refered to as apart of the dance line by son sungdeuk himself. Literally in his instagram he put the hashtag "now officially apart of dance line" when he posted about Tae. Jimin, jungkook and jhope are known as 3J, which is sometimes seperate from dance line. 3J are their own sub unit and do their own actvities too. Like the Butter Remix literally says 3J and not dance line. But damn, whatever it may be, the way you listed out everything tae isnt in, like your life depended on it, makes you sound like a tae anti... like you legit sound condescending asf. im not even a tae solo stan or biased, and i think you sound sus asf for all that. BTW, you may have listed out some stuff tae isnt in, but theres dozens of other stuff tae is in as a dancer. Albeit in formations or choreography. He may not be main or lead dancer... but he was respectfully given the title 'dancer' after all his hard work. Some stuff you listed out may have just been main/lead dancer responsibilities. Also, the members just always refer to 3J as the dancers, bcoz thats what they were for the longest time. Like ffs jungkook still sometimes calls RM "rapmon hyung" to this day. So calling 3J the dancers doesn't take away from the fact that Tae is a dancer as well. The same way that Jungkook refering to RM as rapmon doesn't take away from namjoon's name. BUT AGAIN, either way, its not that serious. Nobody is taking away 3J's titles by giving Tae some respect as a dancer himself. Bcoz im sure Tae knows that as well. He doesn't have the same responsibility of main/lead dancer ofc, but he's still contributing to make their choreography amazing. Dont be weird bro. You think bts would appreciate you listing all that shit just to justify Tae isn't in the dance line or not worthy enough or smthng? Which, btw, they've talked about it and laughed about a lot. Complimenting him all the time. He even assisted the members in remembering their choreo, coz they all forgot except him. And that was in 2019. Calm down lmao.

Suga got his nickname from Shooting Guard. He loves basketball. Recently, he went to the Mavericks - LA Lakers game in California. Jin was discovered on the street. He was not a singer or a dancer before BTS. With tons of hardwork, he learned. They have a rap line (RM, Suga, and J-Hope) and a vocal line (Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, and V.) They all dance. RM learned english from watching Friends on Netflix. An interviewer asked him which character was more like him and he said Chandler.

I've been to several BTS concerts and can tell you that although the majority of the audience are undoubtedly female, prob about 35%-ish are male. BTS fans/ARMY consists of people from all walks of life, races, nationalities, from every age - young kids, teens, middle aged, to even some seniors, and definitely all genders. They even have a following in the hearing impaired/deaf community (V - which stands for "victory", altho is known for his obvious visuals - is also known to casually communicate using ASL/American Sign Language, + BTS have a song that charted @ #1, "Permission to Dance", which incorporated ASL in their choreography). BTS truly are a phenomenon in that regard, with a fan reach reminiscent of Michael Jackson. And yeah, the crowd is LOUD and super energetic! My first concerts were metal, rock and punk, with a mix of R&B and even classical (def mixed genres). BTS's concerts are hands down the loudest and most interactive, phenomenally entertaining and well put together concerts that I'd ever attended. There's a wholesome, welcoming quality, combined with their legit, fiercely phenomenal artistic talents (their rap line, vocal line and dance performances are no joke outstanding). It's the stigma of the idea of a "boy band" that initially turned me off to them until I stumbled upon some of their dance practices while perusing KZfaq during covid lockdowns in 2020, at a time when BTS continued to be extremely active with their music, variety shows, and paid online concerts, as other artists were less so. I've been hooked on BTS's endlessly fun content ever since... there's always something to discover and genuinely enjoy, if one has an open mind✌

They’re all insanely talented, but I’ll always be the most impressed by Jin. He was in his early 20s when he started dancing, it’s something that’s better started young when muscles can develop the right way to be able to handle the strain dancing can be. He’d practice until dawn, alone, because he acknowledged that he was way behind the others in terms of experience. I personally couldn’t tell he wasn’t the strongest dancer when I started, I was just like Damn, dudes can fkn dance 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm a part of the ARMY (and I'm female). A few corrections SUGA does not stand for sugar, it's an abbreviation for "shooting guard" in basketball (which is Suga's fave sport and he played it since he was very young). V (Taehyung or Taetae) stands for Victory, this is what TaeTae chose as his stage name upon joining BTS - he was the only one who made it from his region, the city of Daegu V=victory !! Jungkook (JK) is the youngest of the group, referred to as 'maknae' in Korean means 'youngest' - he joined BTS at 15yrs old, often cried, and missed being home, he was shy & the rest of the members cared for him, including driving him to school, helping with homework & all members came to his graduation (the part of the video with yellow uniforms). RM (Rap Monster) picked up English from watching (binge-watching) "Friends", his Mom gifted the series DVDs to him when he was young. BTS has two main cooks, who provide and prepare food for all members - Jin and Suga. Several members have a 2nd-degree black belt in taekwondo: Jin, Jungkoook & Jimin, their skills are often used in videos (RUN BTS and music videos). BTS is on "holiday" since Jin's enlistment in the army - the members are working on their solo albums Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin & Jungkook album is anticipated this year as well. This is their first long break from performances and concerts in 10 years !!! (since their debut). Their collaborations with other big English-speaking (and not only) artists have an impressive list including Coldplay, Halsey, Erykah Badu, Snoop Dog, Lil Nas, and Steve Aoki just to name a few. JK (Jungkook) sang the song "Dreamers" at the opening ceremony for FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar - - "Dreamers" was the anthem song for football World Cup. General info for k-pop, usually each group has a vocal line, dance line, and rap line. So it happens in BTS most members do all three. Thank you for being respectful and mindful, the music genre might not be for everyone but respect and admiration for their hard work should be shown. ARMY is estimated to have 40mln ++ members Worldwide and growing ;) 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

There are MANY AMAZING Korean rappers, if that is what you are into. Aside from RM, Suga and JHope My favorites RM - Joke Suga - Daechwita J Hope - Arson Another rapper I love is BewhY his song Gottsadae is mind blowing.

The biggest question we all have is where do they have the time to do all this but it’s also they motivated and encouraged each other. Instead of competing against each other they taught and helped each other to learn and try things. That’s made them incredibly ridiculously prolific with how many albums they’ve made and that’s not even including all the solo projects. It’s both amazing and overwhelming but thank you for being respectful and learning more!

And the most awarded group of all time. 10:47 They actually popularised groups using not only their youtube channel to promote themselves, but also their social media! 31:35 He's persevered through his social anxiety, even though there have been times when he has felt like he didn't want to get onstage. 1:07:35 There's tons of male ARMy though! The thing about Jin (Seokjin) that people sometimes overlook, is that he has natural authority . He might act like a goofball, and he is. But we also refer to him as a 'brat tamer' sometimes. Especially when the boys were younger, he was known for putting them in their place when needed. And they all listen, including Namjoon (RM) as the leader, and Yoongi(Suga) as the most savage member. Add to that the fact that he's actually older than most people he'll be training, and the fact that he's very athletic.. I think he'll be more than fine. :)

Jimin also has a deep speaking voice when he speaks in his Busan dialect/satoori. If you listen to him sing Tony Montana with Suga, his voice is deeper. Also, as V/Taehyung can sing falsetto, he also has a really great growl. I didn’t realize you need permission from DKDKTV to react to their Explanation videos. Even if you watched on your own time, you’ll be impressed with RM/Nam Joon’s play on words. Ddaeng is a great one to watch! Hope you’re enjoying these videos. All the best! 호아팅! Fighting!

He was named one the best top 200 singers worldwide of all times (that included Michael Jackson and all) by rolling Stone. Only 2 asians are included in this. And only yesterday he became the fastest kpop soloist to achive 900 million streams on Spotify with only 3 songs and no album released yet

Unlike other KPop groups, BTS were given freedom to express their musical and artistic skills. That is why they have their own solo stuff aside from their group album. Each member have released songs and mix tapes on sound cloud for free as gift for their fans. Although they have their own in-house producers, they are involved in writing, composing and producing their songs. Since the beginning, their CEO Bang Shi Hyuk, the man who formed BTS told them to write their own lyrics and stories. That's why each time they rap or sing their songs, their emotions are overflowing and the message of their songs resonate with the general public.

Member of a choir here! Avid fan of opera and I don't come from an English speaking country. Learnt English and other languages (my own country has over 200 languages). The power of great music transcends language. It also highlights the poetry of language such that sometimes when an original piece is translated to a 2nd language, it may lose the lyrical beauty of the original language. Or something cannot be accurately translated because those words / idiomatic phrases are not found in any other language. So we learn to appreciate all these diverse languages and unique world music.

17:19 That was RM’s IQ for the longest time was 148 until retesting during exams and what I thought was his new recorded IQ at 190 ended up being his english compensation test score which I’ll have to go back to rewatch Problematic Man episode from a few years ago to see what his new updated IQ is. Also, he learned english during his adolescent years watching “Friends” and later down the road taught the rest of them and JHOPE shared the responsibility with RM in teaching them english speaking as well. *All the members can speak good amount of english.* 19:32 It was during grammys award show back in 2018 or 2019, it was not just RM … it was the whole group along with Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus and Little Raymond boy but they were seated the whole time which was their first ever grammy stage performance that was granted through collabing with some of the western artists who attended which over time they gained ability to do many stand alone performances as a group in person and livestreamed.

Just based on your pinned comment I'm guessing you've reached enough army to experience the small % of crappy fans. Every fandom has bad fans, please don't take it to heart. Some people are VERY sensitive to BTS and some of them are just overly protective. Others are just unable to accept any sort of naysaying or criticism. We appreciate your views and you learning more about these guys! If there is one thing ARMY doesn't like is disingenuity. So keep it real!

Jin has the advantage of being older than ALL the other recruits, and the Korean culture values respect and obedience for your elders. ;) But he ALSO has the experience of working SO HARD - remember, he didn't know how to dance and sing before joining BTS, and he's always been one of the members struggling the most with the dance choreos; he'll normally come in the day before the others to start learning the choreo. So he knows how to work hard, how to deal with sh*t from directors and competitors and foreign bigots, a gazillion different staff members and reporters and fans - he's got the interpersonal skills of a PRO. Considering their stage work, he's also insanely fit and a perfectionist, so it's no wonder he won awards for his exemplary basic training and was accepted as a TA.

Taylor should clarify that *JK's age when starting with BTS training was only 13 years old in international age, but 15 years old in Korean age* . @@tigerteel Thank you for sharing your BTS journey with us..... Koreans count age differently to us... Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most videos they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 27 (Korean Age 29). ... 2 years difference So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.) So he was considered 29 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 27 turning 28 in Dec. It's a different way of looking at age, from new years day - Tae is living his 29th year (since conception) - instead of - he turned 27 (since birth)....

Thank you for your honest reactions so far. Army can be super protective... partly because of the backstory of BTS and because they have been misunderstood so much. Also, ARMY has been misunderstood a lot too... "it's all teenage girls, etc" This is simply not correct but a natural assumption when you only know boy-band culture in the US. It's just a hot button for ARMY cause we hear this kind of thing A LOT! I had the same opinion... but I'm a 55 yo woman who just found BTS and I LOVE their stuff.. especially the harder stuff. Not all songs are for me, and they won't be for you either but you will definitely find some songs you love along the way. BTW.. you are already doing better than most at remembering names!
