Welcome to 2 Weeks worth of Dinners for my family of 12! This is an honest look at what we ate for dinner over 12 days, based on using the ingredients from the grocery haul I last uploaded (link below). If you look back at my meal plan in the description of that video, I'm sure you'll see that I didn't end up following my meal plan exactly. That's because I love a flexible meal plan that allows for busy days, unexpected guests, or nights where I'm just not feeling it! This particular fortnight, we ended up being busier than expected, so we definitely had more 'easy' meals than planned - but that's why it's so handy to have extra shelf-stable staples on hand, and to keep meal plans flexible as far as what vegetables one uses, etc. My priority (aside from trying to feed everyone plenty of nutritious meals throughout the week) is to use up all the fresh produce I purchase, without waste. There were a few nights during this particular fortnight where we didn't have many vegetables with dinner, but we are a family who tends to eat vegetables with most meals and also as snacks, so we still got through the abundance of fresh produce that I purchased.
