Thank you! ☺️ Yes, grocery prices have increased substantially in the last few years. Five years ago, I was spending about half what I do now, and we have always eaten very well. Sure, a couple more kids and growing teens….but that certainly wouldn’t naturally double my grocery bill. All of my children eat a lot, no matter their age tbh! All of Australia, along with the rest of the world, has been affected by the recent cost of living increase (which we are calling a crisis in this country). Hence, I try and work the sales and shop around. A few products have dropped in price in the last few weeks…but I haven’t yet seen any major shift 🤞

I completely agree! However, if I make a pb&j, butter is still going on the jam side 😆 Other than that, yes, I count both peanut butter and avocado as butter in their own right.

The 12 pack of digestives are from Woolies. I only get them when half price, but they’re a good deal when they are (about $3.50). Yes, there aren’t any restrictions on milk that I’ve experienced. I’m always flabbergasted at how much milk we go through…but I think it works out to 400ml per person, per day, so that seems about right, I suppose 😆🥛

I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday in gorgeous, sunny Florida ☺️ Funny you should ask, I’m literally just in the middle of planning a video where I show what some of the more Australian items I purchase look like. Passata won’t be included in the vid, as it’s not Australian per se. Passata is a tomato purée, I suppose! It’s just pure tomato (possibly some salt), which is used in many dishes (bolognese, as a pizza sauce, soups, stews, etc). Weetbix are a breakfast cereal. They are little blocks of flakey wheat. Very simple, but delicious! Two or three are enjoyed in a bowl with milk. Common toppings include honey and/or sliced banana (but they are also lovely just with milk). All Australians love Weetbix 😁 I so look forward to doing this video! Xx
