Hey guys! As hard as it is to believe, I've now been up in Cerro Gordo for over TWO YEARS. This short clip is a small recap of my experience living here so far. Thank you all so, so much for the support for the town so far. It means so much to me and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

I have been binge watching your videos about Cerro Gordo about a week now. What you are doing is so much bigger than this historic mining town. The landscape is amazing and the sunrises and sunsets are stunning. The histories are fascinating. What touches me is the journey you are on, finding yourself in this amazing place. About friendships, about community, people helping people, about freedom, about wide open spaces, about being in nature and the landscape, about finding what is really important in life, about preserving history, about getting away from the hustle and crowds and slowing down to get back to the basics. I think that is what people are searching for in our crazy world. I’m going to keep watching your videos. Am excited to see what you will be doing. I’m wishing you the best of luck.

Brent, your escape to the mountains has been truly inspirational for all of us who have been following you in your journey of personal discovery and growth. During two years of turmoil in the world down below you have given us something higher to focus on - a life of challenges and adventure which has enabled you, though being alone, to bring into being a worldwide community to share your hopes and dreams, setbacks and achievements. We look forward to many more years of adventure to come!

We all went on lockdown or started working from home 2 years ago when you started your journey. We took this adventure with you each week. You got us through it. Proud of your accomplishments. This is what being a pioneer is all about and people just don’t get to do this anymore. We don’t grow unless we step outside of our comfort zone. I hope to see Cerro Gordo someday.
