Today's workout is a 20 minute postpartum upper body strength workout - Intermediate (make sure you complete the beginner variation of this workout first). Strengthen and define your chest, shoulders, biceps, triceps and back!
Equipment needed: mat or soft surface + a set of dumbbells

Fantastic workout! I’m a year post partum with my 8th baby. I had given up on me, but your workout came through today and I decided it’s time to get back to it. I want to be strong and healthy for many years to come! It might be 10:30 pm, but I didn’t sleep on my commitment to myself. Thank you for keeping these FREE!

I've been using 5lb and 3lb weights for this and I feel like it's getting easy after a couple of weeks (I'm 7 months postpartum with my second). Should I increase my weight with this workout or use the same weights with the intermediate workout? Thanks for these wonderful free workouts for postpartum mamas!

Hi Allison! Honestly, either would be a great idea! I would actually suggest doing both-increase your weight and also move to the intermediate version. Even the “beginner” workout can be challenging with a weight increase! The intermediate workout is more complex movements, too.
