In this video, I am showing you how I replaced the passenger side motor mount in a 2011 Chevy Equinox which is the same a GMC Terrain. This is the third of four videos showing how to change each motor/transmission mount. DIY and save a ton of money.

just watched all 4 mount replacement videos. thanks for the help, I'm about to do my moms mounts. local shop quoted her 2,600 to do all 4.. earned yourself a subscriber. I appreciate it.

I cant seem to drop the transmission enough to remove it. Any advice on how to lower it more?

I think I had to remove the rear bolts that hold the engine cradle to the frame and loosen ever so slightly the front bolts to allow the back portion to drop enough to get the mount out. Make sure that the craddle or the engine is supported when loosening the cradle. Once you have the bolts loose, then lower your jack. That's how I did it.

@DCAutoEnhancement thanks for the help! Is it okay to have the car on all 4 wheels or should I put it on jackstands and then lift up the engine cradle?

@@BrutalVikingX I just had the front up on jack stands but I'm sure it's ok to have the whole vehicle up on stands but, yes I would use a jack with a 2x4 supporting the engine.
