Here we have an interesting example of how complex a simple system can be. I failed to mention that I did have the scope on the LIN bus and all looked well. This was a very odd one for me! Aftermarket parts for the fail!

Thank you. Appreciate it. I've seen things like this computers can read speed of operation on motors so if the pcm isn't getting that info it'll act up

super showing and explaining on can bus issue on 08 cruze. someone finally slowed down anD showed whatbtheyb were doing and which way the test was going. like the use of exolanation and editing in the diagram so we could visually see on the diagram where you were putting the leads that is how you teach, show and tell properly very few do this correctly. aplus brian

I just replaced the motor on mine and still doesn't work. Could in be a frayed and broken wire?

go to your public library online resourdes and see what auto manual it has. chiltons has the oem service info. so you could have used the gm flow instructions to be 100percent sure that the component was the issue. you woud have disconnntected the driver door connector and tested at pin 5 for a fault as this is the ground pin to the ground which tells the lkk9 module then ipc that the door is open ni think i read the chart and diagram correctly. basically the modules are sending an input that the door is ajar short to groundnfrom the door module switch assembly

Its all fixed It was the regulator like I said. Very interesting stuff for sure, it was all about the actual LIN bus coding of the aftermarket module (doorman regulator motor assy) being incorrect. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
