There's a round button right by your right knee on the driver's side and the other way to open is through the keyfob. Press and hold the button twice. It takes a few seconds

Yes you have to press the lock button 3x’s

no it doesnt. i literally had the 2019 jeep cherokee latitude trim and it did not have remote start. @@pressureflipin1992

I just bought one of these and the trunk has a Latch type button on the right side you can press 2x it will lift itself

@@concretejungle6938 the latch you grab on the back hatch that lifts it up.. press it twice and it will lift itself automatically. Also a button on the drive side that opens the back hatch as well as being able to double tap the key fob to open.
