Giant's 2021 Trance X E+ is a 29er based electric mountain bike powered by the Yamaha PWX2 motor. What's unique about the bike is that Giant have completely written their own firmware for the motor, essentially taking a blank motor from Yamaha and upping the torque levels in the lower modes.

Giant also have a Ride Assist app that also allows you to customise motor parameters.
The bikes come with a removable 625Wh internal battery and I really like that they all come with 6a fast chargers.
